When I found out they're only open for takeout now, I almost turned around. Glad I didn't though, because the food was delicious and well worth carting home.I had the Pad Phet with vegetables. I specified very spicy and they actually listened (although I would have preferred some whole or larger pieces of chili to the tiny bits and paste)! Perfect amount of heat, bursting with flavor, healthy mix of vegetables (carrots, broccoli, baby corn, tofu, eggplant, onions, peppers, maybe more). Eggplant could have been fresher but everything else was spot on. The coconut milk based sauce was to die for! Will likely be back to try other menu items.

WOW do they make good noodles here! We ate and left zero crumbs. The Pad See Ew was my favorite. No dining service. Order at counter and you can dine in. Staff were really nice, and the food came out fast. I will be back to try more!

Aroy Thai is a delicious Thai restaurant in the heart of College Park, MD. It is a good, and one of few, Thai restaurants in College Park. The food here is always fresh and has delicious flavor. The customer service is OK and the restaurant can be quite busy on Friday nights and weekends while the University of Maryland is in session since this restaurant serves both the student community and locals. The ambiance of this restaurant is classic with traditional Asian vibes, decor, and dine-in seating. Street parking is limited, however, spots do seem to open up frequently. The businesses on this street are short-term shopping, so the parking availability is fluid. Overall a good Thai option in College Park. Give them a try.

It was my first time here. I ordered the Panang Curry with Shrimp and a Pineapple Fried Rice. The Panang Curry I highly recommend. It's made with crushed peanuts which they puréed and mixed with peanut paste (no pieces of peanut are found in the curry) that's then added to coconut milk. They also added a good amount of broccoli and shrimp with a bite of crushed red pepper. It was so delicious, a little spicy but I like a little bit of heat in my dishes.I don't know if it was just today but the Pineapple Fried Rice needed a little bit of work. The shrimp wasn't fully cooked for this dish and the chicken was dry. I put it in the fridge and am going to try eating the rice tomorrow after the flavor has kicked in.Overall, I'll be back for more curry.

Really enjoyed my delivered Pad See Ew with tofu and extra veggies. The noodles were bouncy and chewy, very fresh! The sauce was perfect, ordered it mild and didn't need any additional spice or sauces. I ate all of it usually I have leftovers but I guess I could have worse complaints!

*Updated Review*I visited this place for dinner after many years. I'm trying to find a good Thai spot. This one is a solid choice. I did a takeout order for my thai staple, drunken noodles with chicken extra spicy. I called ahead - in 15 minutes, I arrived, and it was ready. It was very filling. I would try them again in the near future. Parking here isn't the best, but it's not terrible. The service was good.

Solid order from Aroy Thai again! We got the Thai basil fried rice with pork (one of our favorite dishes), and this time tried the pad chai with chicken, and a dessert as well - mango with sticky rice. The fried rice was amazing as always, the pad thai had such a good flavor (though the chicken was a bit dry like last time) and the mango with sticky rice. Just wow. The mango was perfectly ripe, and the sticky rice/sauce was awesome. We'd get everything again. Also, they have great service- they're pleasant when you order and when you pick up.I remembered to take one picture this evening, and it was of the dessert.

Caution!! They have tables but really it's a take out place. They wouldn't even give us water. Thai ice tea is served lukewarm with no ice, already prepared and sitting in a "cooler" but not remotely cold. The photo is literally how they served the soup. For dine in. Yes that's a to go container (burning hot) with noodles in another box. We were hypothetically dining in. I've never seen such a thing. If you don't want dine in customers, then be take out only. Don't just serve dine in soup in a burning hot thin plastic container that's too small to fit the noodles.Food was decent but was the oddest and worst dine in experience I've probably ever had Go somewhere else

The "ramen" was actually lo mein. A lo mein that didn't even have all the things lo mein has. No broth no onion wrong type of noodles. Very disappointed. 2 stars for the flavor. Of the lo mein.

Quick service and yummy food! It was so much better than other Thai restaurants I have tried. Plus, the portions are decent size that I can save some for dinner later. There's a few tables, but it's served in a to go box so it's a win win either way
