This is one of my favorite coffee shops in DC. I usually come for breakfast but popped in for lunch on a Friday and it was pretty crowded around noon with people working remotely and groups having coffee or lunch. I ordered the fish sandwich, which was the perfect light yet filling lunch. It comes on a scallion pancake with super crispy fish, tangy kimchi and a creamy sauce. Their cakes always look delicious, so I tried a slice of chocolate cake. It's pretty dense with a thick fudgy icing. Next time I'll try the carrot cake.

I was able to use the InKind app to get $15 off of $30 I believe, which honestly is a steal for what we got.The person who helped us was so kind and provided the recs. My friend and I got a viet iced coffee with ube, a masala chai latte with a shot of espresso, the kimchi scallion pancake sandwich, and the miso-buffalo chicken sando. Lots of various seating. My friend said she would probably come back here to study as well.

A darling gem in DC! The vibe, drinks, food and service are excellent at Any Day Now.I sampled a beet with butternut squash puree and General Tso's chicken sando. The myriad of salad ingredients were fresh, hearty and so well paired to play off each other -- an absolute delight for the palate! The crispiness and thinness of the onion pancake on the sando was unexpected but it worked. I dipped the pancake and sando itself in their crisp chili oil and that took the sandwich to level 10.The crisp chili oil is one of the best I've ever had (and I've sampled quite a few). It has a nice faint seaweed/umami flavor that leaves you wanting more. Nailed it on the chili oil, Chef!Love the nods to Asian cuisine and culture. And don't sleep on the merch wall! Such fun and cute products, including jars of their crisp chili oil for $8!100% worth a stop in for a cozy meal and happy hour runs all night on Sundays and Mondays + supporting a minority owned business.

We had the Nashville hot chicken sando and the general tso chicken sando. This was pretty tasty but definitely a little messy to eat. There's plenty of seating. If the restaurant is full, you can pop into the lobby of the hotel (it's connected to it) and eat there. Both are great options.

Great coffee shop with cool coffees, GREAT food, and lots of sun-lit seats to sit in. It's the perfect place to bring a book (or computer) and sit with friends for awhile. It's really comfortable inside and there are nice couches to sit for awhile at. The food here might be the best part though! Everything is great, you can't go wrong with the breakfast sandwiches though! They also have a happy hour on Sunday/Monday at 5 ($5 beers are on the menu, so not bad). It's a great coffee shop that for sure has something for everyone!

Looking for a new coffee shop to try and saw multiple online reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. Liked it so much, I returned a couple days later.Food?Breakfast Scallion Pancake Sandwich with Hickory Smoke Bacon. Delicious. Served with a steamed egg, American cheese, lo-mayo, and a side of chili crisp. Very filling, but worth it.Drink?Vietnamese Iced Coffee with Ube. Excellent! I had come here to try this drink and it was worth the walk. Staff was friendly and on my first visit, warned me there would be a little bit of a wait for my sandwich since a large order had been placed in front of me. Place was quiet and people working, so I didn't mind the wait at all.Would definitely return.

the cafe itself was huge with lots of sitting space, although i could imagine it getting crowded on the weekends. the matcha is stirred upon ordering (rather than a pre-made paste) which definitely showed through in the taste. would recommend a visit, but definitely too pricey to go regularly

This is such a unique local cafe!I came on a sunday around noon. It was definitely busy, but it only took a few min for my order to be taken at the counter and 10-15 min for my food to be ready. Not sure about parking b/c I took the metro - it was under 10 min walk to navy yard station. It is very cute inside, with lots of natural light. Not a TON of tables, but enough for all the brunch-goers on a sunday. Many people camped out with laptops or books.I'm not sure how well they clean the tables between customers aside from just removing the dishes. I loved the unique idea of sandwiches on scallion pancakes. The grilled chicken club sandwich was reallyyyyy tasty and the side of smashed cucumbers was super flavorful. The ube latte was yummy but not MIND BLOWING. I did think things were a bit overpriced but that's pretty typical of a local DC cafe. The sandwich was a bit small I thought for $15 with no side or add-ons. I didn't get cake, but $9 / slice is pretty steep. It better be next level!!!!I would come back, and I certainly told all my friends about it! Not OBSESSED though.

The food was wild, the wings were mild. The wait staff was sweet, the menu selection was unique. We will be back, you can bet on that, Jack...

I'd been intrigued by the scallion pancake breakfast sandwiches and am so glad I made the trip to Navy Yard to go to Any Day Now!! The scallion pancake was a little crispy for my taste (I prefer a chewy one) and the sandwich had American cheese (which I find pretty rich), but it was very well composed and really yummy. A fun take on a breakfast sandwich. The egg is a soufflé texture which is also very innovative and yummy. Outside of the highly anticipated sandwich, the ambiance was great. Very casual and comfortable with a modern design. Seems like a great place to sit and work and enjoy a treat! Their bakery options looked similarly interesting, but I was too full from the sandwich to try any!
