Anita's New Mexico Style Mexican Food

I've been visiting Anita's at their various locations around the DMV for years and have always enjoyed the great food, great service and great prices. They've really classed up this location, which used to be a pizza bar here in the Virginia Square area..... which is actually a good thing. The vibe of this location is very relaxing, and the service is so friendly and attentive. My go tools are the chimichangas and the chicken enchiladas. Both dishes are so cheesy, flavorful, seasoned, and good. Both dishes are nicely prepared and presented, and, above all, tastes great! The service is excellent. I particularly like the serving sizes of their lunch specials and prices (Note: ends at 4pm).Would highly recommend Anita's Mexican restaurant!

DELICIOUS! I've been here for a dine in dinner once and to go breakfast twice. You have probably heard how this restaurant has $3 breakfast burritos, and my husband loves them. I'd recommend getting 2. I like their sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich which comes out on texas toast. My big takeaway from the dinner was that the refried beans were amazzzzing. I want to go and just order a giant bowl of those. Seating: indoor and outdoor is available.How to get there: this is closest to the virginia square metro and paid parking on the street should be available.

In addition to great tastes, I've consistently been pleased by the generous servings, from their tacos to large plated entrees. I usually come bye to pick up our food and it is always ready and packaged for the trip home.

Stopped in after craving a breakfast burrito! The service was speedy and everyone was very attentive. The burritos were absolutely delicious. I got the San Jose burrito which had chorizo and rice and beans, covered in their signature red chili sauce. Very delicious and reasonably priced! I was also pleasantly surprised they had a bar, a sit down area as well as a to go counter.

This place is great for breakfast and conveniently located. Opens quite early for those who may need to grab something before heading into work. The extent of my experience here is I usually order to pick up, grab my order and leave. Although in the afternoon, I tend to see a bunch of people dining inside and outside so it appears to be a decent dining spot. Lots of great menu items.

my fiancée and i come by once or twice a week for their breakfast meal- the service, cleanliness, and food quality is always top notch. the consistency with each visit just shows you how much they actually care about their work and the pride they take in their food. everything on the menu is delicious, you could probably close your eyes and point at a random one and it would amazing. the service is spectacular- friendly, helpful, and fast. honestly one of my favorite places of all time :)
