&Pizza has gone downhill. I use to really love this place but now, it really depends on the service and if they care to make your pizza correctly. I recently order two pizzas for pick up. They wouldn't allow any substitutions even though several ingredients were missing/ran out. I ordered the American honey which just had pepperoni and cheese on it and none of the other toppings. The food also tasted a bit stale. Person working did not seem to care when I came to pick up order.

Overall solid; quick, customizable personal pizzas, good quality and cheap.This review is specifically for their 4th of July themed pizzas (Hot Grill Summer): the Sun's Out Buns Out and the Glizzy McGuire:Both were solid pieces of Americana, firecrackers of freedom for my salivary glands. Sun's Out Buns Out was the favorite to win, and its dill pickles were an excellent touch, like remembering the 2nd Amendment under the Florida sun. You can't be more Murican than an underdog though, so on the last NASCAR lap, The Glizzy McGuire took a surprising lead; pizza will never be the same. Pizza and Glizzies are now wed in holy matrimony, I will never have one without the other.

We ordered online and picked up at the store. Inside seemed but kind of empty. Pick up was easy, I told the lady my name and it was ready.We ordered 2 pizzas and a garlic knots. The maverick was good. It had pepperonis, sausage, and salami on it with a little drizzle of pesto. That was our favorite. We also got American honey pizza. This was also good but a tad spicy. Both had a good crust. The garlic knots were good. They were buttery and garlicky--what you'd expect from a garlic knot.

I didn't expect a smooth experience at & Pizza in Navy Yard when redeeming my "free pizza" coupon because Unfortunately, the online ordering process was a hassle, requiring multiple attempts to process payment for just the tax on my "free" pizza.Arriving at 9:00 pm, I was initially greeted with a smile and asked for my name. I was asked if my order was online and was handed my pizza around 9:13pm which was fine but had to wait while the employee served 3-4 other customers before attending to me about receiving the rest of my order. Despite receiving my pizza warm (not hot) initially, the delay in redeeming my "free soda" reward caused it to grow cold over the 20-minute wait.When I finally received my pizza, it was disappointingly cold and dry, likely due to the prolonged wait and handling. Adding to the frustration, the employee seemed irritated when her scanner couldn't scan my QR code for the "free soda" reward, further delaying the process.Despite my family's usual enjoyment of & Pizza, this experience fell short of expectations. While the mango soda was a highlight, the overall service and quality were lacking.I urge & Pizza to improve its online ordering system and prioritize prompt service to ensure a more enjoyable dining experience for its patrons.

Do not go to this location! When I first walked in the spoke to the woman in the front, she was really nice. As I walked to the back to look there was a person walking out eating a sour straw and stuffing it in her mouth. She put on gloves and I was still looking at the menu. As I took my AirPods out to hear she said "what are you having?". Before I can even respond she yelled "What are you having?". Her name was Imani. There was no need for the attitude as I hadn't even said one word to this person. I told the manager Brittany (no sure the correct spelling) what happened and she offered to make it for me, but I just walked out. Not interested in giving my money or time to people that are rude for no reason.

It's likely the subway for pizza, quick, fresh, and tasty. I walked by and decided to stop and order some lunch. I think I paid about 14$ for a flat-bread-ish style elongated pizza with spicy tomato sauce, jalepenos, and pepperoni. I opted for garlic butter (like Papa John's) on half of the pizza, glad I only chose half because they give you a generous helping that saturated that side of the pie. I really enjoyed it and would think this is a good lunch style pizza or late night.

&pizza is a nice concept; the food tasted unique and was relatively filling, I docked 2 stars because the customer service and in store ordering experience was terrible. This was our first visit to &pizza and even though there was no one else inside when we walked in, we never got a simple greeting or a "How may I help you?' There's a large digital board in the center that shows seems to show the menu. We then stepped aside since 6 others came in during the time we were looking. An employee just looked at us and bizarrely motioned for us to come up and place our order. We ordered the White Pizza and Vegan Rolls. She told use they didn't have the sauce for the white pizza and said "what you want us to do?" We asked if we could choose a different sauce and a another employee said yes. This girl was clueless and seemed to just float around from the assembly line to the register. The same employee again bizarrely motioned for us to come to counter; apparently we had to select our toppings even though we had already ordered one of their creations. So even though we ordered the White Pizza I'm not sure what we ended up eating. My girlfriend was super polite during this whole process and I just kept quiet. She even opted to give them a 25% tip at checkout, I have no idea why, since every part of the experience was a case study on bad service. If you already like &pizza or want to try a new take on flatbread pizza then this is worth a try. Just don't expect anything in terms of basic customer service or pleasantries from this Navy Yard location. I was so annoyed by the experience that I didn't even take pics. The flatbread was divide into 6 pieces and was pretty similar to any other flatbread pizza I've had. The vegan rolls were made with Impossible Sausage, which is what made them vegan. Overall the taste test was a solid 8 out of 10, but then again we were also hungry.

Make your own pizza restaurant. The quality of the ingredients are not that great, leaves you unsatisfied as you bite into your customizable pizza. This is the DMV comparison to Blaze or Mod pizza and does not pass the test. Good if you're on a time crunch and just want to stop in and grab your pizza, but not great if you want to sit down and enjoy your dinner.

Wasn't especially impressed with the pizza. But considering it's a chain restaurant, I didn't expect too much. I got the New G pizza, but it didnt have much mozarella and the sauce wasn't that well spread. I got this right after landing in D.C, so I was very thankful it was pretty filling, but not really my favorite. The restaurant didn't feel like a traditional pizza place - it felt very modern.
