Nice little old school spot in the city. Food hit all the spots. Fries could of been more seasoned but personally preference. The ladies working were very nice

Al's is a Dc staple and has a great menu and VERY AFFORDABLE prices if you can't find your desire here you aren't hungry all prepard fast and with great service . the sami's are hot fresh and made to order and the fries are plentiful and hot!!" finally a restaurant that doesn't sell fries as gold sticks " I had the ruben it was packed with thick sliced hunks of corned beef dripping in 1000 island and perfectly grilled it is a walk out deli no seating old school goodness I love the place and is my go to spot in DC ... When you go tell the ladies you love there matching sweaters you get a bonus load of fries hmmmm good

I love their home fries, their fish subs and chicken cheese subs and French fries. They don't skip on anything and you get your money's worth. I just wish they had sold salads as well. They will not dis a point!!! lol

I really like the food. It is higher quality than most carry outs. I always order ahead online and the service is fast and friendly. I highly recommend this place for your carry out lunch needs.

I will definitely recommend trying the ' Bulgogi ' steak Sandwich it is really good! It worth the trip from Woodbridge just for that.Parking is a little challenging but just take your time you will find one around the way.

Fast friendly neighborhood spot where they know the regulars. I came for a croissant sandwich and when I saw they had croaker we decided to get both. 2 large pieces of croaker with home fries fried hard and a sausage egg and cheese croissant with grape jelly. Food was hot and good. A family friend came in for his daily scrapple and egg sandwich and a hey knew what he wanted before he stepped up to the counter.

Place is a DC Icon, been here for years, if you know you know. The staff will remember you and treat you as family. The bacon egg and cheese croissant is the best I've had. So good

This is a decent American food carry out. I would give them 3.5 starts but since I can't and want them to stay in the neighborhood, I'll round up to 4.I always get the breakfast and other than the +/- $2 guesswork on the prices, - the breakfast is always good. - portions are reasonable - the prices are good- they are quick I need to try the fish Sammage... update coming soon.

Whenever i come down to Navy Yard I'll get a breakfast sandwich ( bacon egg n cheese on a crossisant ) and this is this most delicious and authentic sandwich in this area. Given that the area is gentrified with over price food that doesn't have the best taste or quality , this place is a gem. You can tell this deli has been around for years and I hope they stay here because the cafes around here do not compete.

My daughter and her fiancé just got food poisoning from this restaurant on 06/25/24!! They've been sick for the past 24 hours since Eating there, vomiting and diarrhea oft! They only ate friEd eggs, home fries, and watermelon... they shared it with a friend and SHE is sick too! Please do NOT eat here anytime soon!‍
