Review of their afternoon tea:$49 total for tea for two is really a great deal! They even substituted out a sandwich I didn't like. It's not a quiet and proper setting like normal high teas, but it was still fun.All the food was delicious, and loved that your tea came in your own personal pot.It's just a bummer they only do it on weekdays.

In for a lunch meeting, it was good to have made a reservation. This place is hopping. As you can read in other reviews, the back side of the famous bookstore does have a ton of traffic!My companions decided to start with the crab deviled eggs. We were in vicious agreement that these may have been some of the tastiest eggs we've ever had!For my main I went with the Mediterranean Falafel Wrap, which had large. plentiful Falafels inside a toasted pita with spicy feta spread, hummus, arugula, cucumber, pickled onions and a delectable seasoning.My colleagues went for the Chicken and Waffles and the Chicken Pot Pie. Both reported that they were equally delish.My only complaint was they seem to be short on servers, so it was a big slower than one would expect. Our server was quite nice, but you could tell they were kept busy with so many tables to attend to. Note to management; you've got good people, keep them by easing their load by adding another staffer or two during those busy times.

A very busy spot with lots going on! Everything on the menu sounded amazing, but with the cold weather I had to go with the crab soup. It's a rather unassuming dish but chockfull of flavor - and crab! I also had one of their French cream sodas while I waited which was delightful. It was pretty loud inside and getting a seat was chaotic, but the servers were great and my food was ready pretty quickly for how busy they were.

I love Kramers bookstore and their restaurant is a great addition to the place. So many great options and loved the breakfast served all day. The eggs were creamy and delicious and got the chocolate cake at the end of the meal which was HUGE. A lovely little spot to eat after book-shopping

All Day is a great spot for happy hours and to cozy up with a good book! It is also a fantastic place to meetup with friends after a long day. Very relaxing!I typically come to enjoy a drink off their happy hour menu - great quality and always consistent. However, One issue I do have is that the food tends to be very underwhelming. Most recently, my friend and I got the Pappas Bravas and it tasted as if the entire skillet of potatoes was burnt.The service is speedy, however a bit underprepared at times. I appreciate their kindness in refunding our items we did not eat. I really hope my next visit will be better!

The food was okay.The service was alright as nobody came to do refills on coffee until asked.This shouldn't be the case if you're charging your customers 5% SERVICE FEE!!!! That was already increased. The dishes are already a little pricey.The cali omelette potatoes weren't crispy and the sausages were very dryThe smoked salmon was alright Ambiance is a bite tight but very local feeling which was what we were aiming for

If I could give less stars I would! You probably shouldn't market yourself as "pet friendly" and then ask two women to depart with their dog because a customer complained. Was asked to leave for barking that never occurred

Fortunately, my friend and I were able to walk in at 12:15 PM this past Saturday for brunch. We were able to order, eat and leave within an hour. The interior is elegant and well decorated, and given the warm September weather, there was also plenty of seating outside.YOGURT PARFAIT - 11Pretty solid deal for $11. I got a sizable bowl of yogurt (a bit sweet, definitely not greek), granola, and lots of fresh berries (strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries). My favorite part were the two pieces of toast I got on the side which wasn't too soft or hard, and had the perfect slightly crispy texture that went well with the butter packet. I wasn't too hungry, so the amount of food here was perfect.My friend got the ROASTED PORK HASH that she thought was delicious. The portions were large (two poached eggs, lots of potatoes, pork and onions and topped with hollandaise) so she had a hard time finishing all the food. Overall, the pricing here is very reasonable for the Dupont area. I'd recommend stopping by for brunch if you are nearby!

Kramer's All day is one of my favorites for the variety of food and drinks they have. Your experience of the atmosphere will depend on where you are seated, there are 3 main areas, they bar (where you can sometimes catch live music) the solarium, or outside seating. I will say the bar area has the strong smell of wet rags. As for food, if you go after 4pm you can order New Haven style pizzas. I especially enjoy the Italian sodas, burgers, French toast and the Brussels sprouts. The staff is kind and service is quick.

Great spot! It is lovely in the little bookstore. The restaurant is small but it is cute. I got a Dorian grey to start and it was delicious! They had really cute names for all of their drinks. Then I got the crispy chicken sandwich which was really quite good! Much better than I was expecting. The fries were really delicious too and well seasoned. It was also very affordable. Great place!
