During DC Restaurant Week, my husband and I enjoyed bottomless brunch at Agora Tysons with Christine and Jackie. Since I'm partaking in Dry February, I sipped on two refreshing mocktails - Kikek & Hibiscus Lemonade. Starters included warm bread with dips, marinated shrimp, truffled eggs, mixed greens, charcuterie, cheese, and olives. Flatbreads like mixed cheese pide and gozleme were a hit, while hearty proteins like classic eggs Benedict, lamb shoulder, and sis tavuk did not disappoint. The veggie sauté and halloumi cheese with honey made for perfect sides, and we wrapped up with lokma, Greek yogurt parfait, and a fresh fruit plate. My favorites? The marinated shrimp, gozleme, lamb shoulder, sis tavuk, and halloumi cheese with honey--absolute standouts!

Food: we came for the bottomless brunch for $42 and we ordered a pitcher of mimosa for $18. The starters definitely were plentiful. I enjoyed the baba ganoush, harissa dip, truffle devils eggs, shrimp with lemon sauce, lebhen and the hazelnut and peanut butter spread. I also ordered the lamb and beef eggs benedict. I was stuffed!Ambiance: i love the decor. So beautiful.Service: our waiter was great and attentive. The bussers were also really quick to clear our table. Overall the service was good. One thing I will say is I didn't feel very welcome as a patron. We were told they close at 4 to turn over the restaurant for dinner. They cleared everything except for the pitcher and glassware, it doesn't take long to clear the rest of the glasses and set the table. I've been at this location a few times and I will say I leave with a feeling that my patronage wasn't that appreciated. I usually go here because friends suggest it and the food is good. But with so many other Middle Eastern restaurants in Tysons, I feel they need to be more hospitable to ALL PATRONS.

The inside is gorgeous with high ceilings, fun domed seats, and mosaic lanterns. There's a lot of available seating and, while busy, it's not too hard to get a reservation or a particularly long wait. The staff were quick to accommodate our reservation change for a large party (8) from a Thursday night to a Friday night. The only issue we really had was with the service as our server wouldn't come around that often for us to order and would forget to put orders in, but the food runners were wonderful and would grab us whatever had been forgotten. All the food and drinks we ordered were delicious. We started with the spread sampler platter and even ordered another side of cacik on its own. The sucuklu pide (beef sausage) was good, but heavy on the cheese. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly and the sides of broccolini and onions made it more filling. The highlight dish for me was the grilled kalamar, which was flavorful and the sauce was a bright balance in comparison to the lamb. For dessert, we ordered the pistachio soufflé and künefe. The soufflé was sweet and hot (temp), pairing nicely with the ice cream. The künefe was interesting, the cheese was something different and not for me but it still tasted pretty good!

I forgot to take pictures because I was hungry and everything tasted SO GOOD. We had the spread sampler platter to start which was a great way to try everything and the warm pitas were a perfect vessel. We also ordered the beet salad which was surprisingly tasty (I don't normally love beets). We also ordered a flatbread and some lamb. They were much bigger portions than I expected and it felt like a great value for the money! The ambiance inside is super nice and all of the people working there were extremely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back with a slightly larger group so i can try more things!

This is the second time I am here and this place does not disappoint! This time we ordered the ottoman rice and sampler in addition to the best kunefa. The kunefa was even better than the one I ordered in Alanya, Istanbul, Bodrum and Side combined. So that is a must if you come here. Parking is in the garage on the ba k side for free, which is tremendously convenient. A lot of people during lunch hours so I will disregard the attentiveness from the staff. But if I ought to be picky, the portion should be a little bigger ( after all we are in US not Europe) and next time do not send out burnt pita bread. The ambiance and the great flavor saved it again, so I will still recommend checking this place out. It also serves halal which is great since there aren't many or any location in McLean with an ambiance like this.

Ohhh what an amazing time we had last night at Agoro! Somehow we managed to snag last minute reservations for two for dinner at a high top located in front of the bar. The front desk service was very friendly and accommodating. Our waiter was well versed in the menu at Agoro which was refreshing. We ordered two cocktails to start: the Istanbul Bey #2 and the Aroma. My husband ordered the Aroma cocktail and within minutes our waiter was lighting his drink on fire! :) The drink allows for wood chips burnt into a smoke top that then goes in the cocktail glass. It was nice table side entertainment to kick off dinner. Both drinks were yummy, his more strong than mine. My only complaint was that the Istanbul bey should have been served in a short glass making it easier to drink. We only ordered three dishes since we weren't extremely hungry. The sampler spreads were incredible so I highly recommend ordering this dish to start off your meal. It comes with a basket of fresh made pita bread. The only spread I didn't know was the cod roe which I think anyone would agree is an acquired taste. Ask for a side of harissa! The brazino hot dish was the star of the night and stole the show. It was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The beetroot salad was good but the labneh at the bottom of the salad was overpowering and could have been plated in less quantity. Our waiter served Turkish tea as a finisher free of cost. What an incredible dinner- so thankful and hope to be back soon!!P.S. Parking directly at this restaurant is difficult. I recommend parking a few minutes away and walking.

I've been wanting to try Agora ever since I started my first job in the Tysons area about three years ago, and I finally got the chance! I visited Agora for their bottomless brunch, offered on Sunday mornings. For $42 per person, you can enjoy a wide selection of starters, flatbreads, omelets, benedicts, and more. The dishes are served tapas-style, giving you the opportunity to sample a little bit of everything. Some of my favorite starters were the Htipiti (roasted red pepper, feta, thyme, olive oil), Labneh, and Cacik, which paired perfectly with the light and fluffy pita bread.Among the standout dishes, the Sucuklu Pide flatbread was a highlight, with its slightly smoky flavor and an impressive cheese pull. The Salmon Eggs Benedict was just as delicious, with the guacamole and salmon caviar adding depth to the flavor. I also enjoyed the Manchego Omelet, filled with fragrant basil and tomatoes. The interior of Agora is stunning, with plenty of seating to accommodate groups. The atmosphere is lively and sociable, so it can get a bit noisy. Despite the bustle, the service was impressively efficient--our dishes arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. Another plus is the free parking located in the back of the building in a garage.Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would definitely visit again!

I recently dined at Agora, a Mediterranean restaurant, and had an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance felt warm and inviting, with a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that perfectly complemented the Mediterranean theme. Our waiter, Akin, was incredibly helpful and attentive. He took the time to explain the menu in detail, making great recommendations and answering all our questions. His friendly and knowledgeable service really enhanced our meal.As for the food, everything was outstanding. We started with the dip platter, which offered a fantastic variety of flavors--each dish was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The main courses were just as impressive, with the kabob being a particular highlight--tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The flavors were authentic, and you could tell they used high-quality ingredients.Overall, Agora delivers a memorable dining experience with excellent service, flavorful food, and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy Mediterranean cuisine in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.

Went for dinner and OMG! From the minute we walked in until the minute we were treated very well by everyone. Our server Bekzat was awesome. I had the two yogurt dips the cucumber mint was my favorite oh it came with warm bread too. I also had the sirloin cubed kebab and that's where my OMG came in.. I loved it. You don't always find a steak so well cooked, well seasoned and juicy and tender . My husband had the lamb and NY strip and he really liked it. We also had the ottoman rice which was also good. And we finished it off with a pistachio soufflé which reminded me of Italy's best pistachio croissants! The soufflé came with goat milk ice cream which made it just that more decadent. I had the thyme cocktail which reminded me of a mimosa. I did expect a bubbly as it had Prosecco but it just did not wow me. I guess some people like it Maybe I try a different one next time. The place is also pretty which made it perfect for our date night.

The brunch was delicious. All of the dips and pita bread or a must try. The parfait was yummy too. I am definitely going back.
