If you like the IDEA of Indian food but tend to go for butter chicken and are cautious about too many spices - and definitely nothing too "spicy," then this might be the place for you. What used to be an authentic hole-in-the-wall joint with real Indian food appears to have been watered down over the years. We recently picked up some kadai goat, bindi masala, butter chicken, saag paneer ... and all of it was just about flavorless. Not simply "not spicy," but "not very spiced at all." Honestly, I don't get it. I arrived to pick up our order at the scheduled time. The place was deserted. There was one other order waiting to be picked up. Nobody was there. Not a soul. Paced a bit until someone came back and discovered I was there. Still took a good 10 minutes (probably 15 minutes past the pickup time) before I left with my food. This would not have been much of a problem at all if the reward was worth it.If you want good Indian food I'd keep driving down maple and stop off at the gas station on the right...

We got takeout via grubhub so I cannot comment on service or atmosphere. The food is terrible - bland, not fully homemade, and meat is tough. I was very disappointed. Chicken Tikka - bland. Sauce looks like it's filled with emulsifiers. Same with the lamb korma - has none of the usual creamy richness of restaurant made. Baingan barta is unbelievably bland. No roasted eggplant in there. Had to add salt and pepper flakes to add flavor Naan was good Total waste of money

The food here is excellent! I was looking for a local Indian food place and luckily I decided to ignore some old reviews. This will definitely be our go-to place for Indian take out. The basmati rice, chicken tikka masala, so good! We even had guests visiting and they loved it as well. Highly recommend!

In all honesty I was coming for crepe amour when I saw Aditi Streetside beside it. Since Crepe amour had a line, I went in here cause there was no line. There were two people who already placed order that was waiting for food. The staff were friendly and nice and helped explain the menu too me. I ended up getting a masala kati and two samosas. The kati is kind of like a burrito. I was thinking it would be like a dosa, but it was not. It had good spices on it but didn't taste fresh. The samosas were really good. I enjoyed the sauce they served with it. I am curious to try other things here. I saw some photos that they have curries and rice separated out. I think I would have preferred that if I saw it on the menu.

Their "Streetside" items - mostly fried appetizers - are good. We enjoyed the samosas, and the fried fish thing. I was disappointed in my goat curry, which was rather tough (and of course fatty, but that's normal). Marnie liked her spinach Paneer. Overall, I miss the old Aditi and their lunch buffet, which used to be my favorite local lunch. The new joint seems more geared to takeout; all the food is served in disposable takeout-ready containers.

I remember years ago this place had a wonderful lunch buffet option. Now, it's disappointing in flavors, quality, & pricing. Came here for lunch & ordered the butter chicken & lamb biryani. The butter chicken was not good at all. There were small, thinly sliced pieces of chewy chicken instead of the bigger succulent, juicy pieces at other quality Indian restaurants. The flavor was lacking in spice & flavor & the sauce was watery. Lamb biryani was also lacking in flavor as well. Most definitely not worth $15+ for each dish. Sad to see the quality has gone down.

It's a live to-go kitchen once they closed the adjoining restaurant. Their Kati Rolls are just amazing, be it the Paneer Kati Roll or the Chicken Kati Roll. It's a league in itself! Do try it if your around the Vienna area, you'll get the actual street side Indian feeling.Must Try: Chicken/Paneer Kati Roll, Cochin Shrimp curryTheir Parotta's aren't that great and the Biryani is decent.

Today (6/15/24) I placed takeout order for 4 samosas. I was home in 10 minutes and found samosas to be soggy and inside filling did not taste good. I will never order food from this restaurant.

I ordered chicken Biryani and it was the worst Biryani I had ever in my life, there was so flavour, no salt, no spices and it was completely sweet type biryani with lots of unnecessary things mixed up.

Good food at reasonable price. Chicken biryani, lamb saag, samosas, shrimp masala are our favorites.
