I've had Ada's On The River on my must-visit list for the past four years, and I finally made it happen on my birthday! Even without a reservation, I was able to dine in at either the bar or the counter. Since we were a party of three and there weren't three seats together at the bar, we opted for the counter. To start, I sipped on The Star of Brunch, a delightful mix of New Amsterdam vodka, vanilla, passion fruit, mango, and sparkling wine--bright, fruity, and refreshing. We also shared the Brunch Bread Basket, a beautifully curated selection of an orange pecan sticky bun, Nutella baba, raspberry scone, espresso coffee cake, and a lemon poppy seed muffin--perfect for those who love a little bit of everything. For entrées, Iris enjoyed the Pork Schnitzel, my husband went for the Crab and Avocado Toast, and I indulged in the Maine Lobster Omelette, which was rich, flavorful, and a true treat for a special occasion.Overall, Ada's lived up to my long-standing anticipation with a great atmosphere, delicious food, and a memorable birthday brunch!

This beautiful waterfront restaurant is always booked so we opted for a late dinner the day after Valentine's Day. There are a couple parking garages around in an outside parking lot, which is where we parked for $15.Once seated, we knew exactly what we wanted because we frequented this restaurant. After ordering a bottle of wine, seared scallops, and the lamb shank who proceeded with dinner. The scallops and polenta were delicious, but I wish I would've asked for the scallops to be seared longer and the lamb shank wasn't as we once remembered it. It definitely lacked flavor and was slightly dry. Although our dinner experience wasn't as great as the first time, we're looking forward to coming back for brunch .

Came here for the first time with a group of friends for Sunday brunch. We were a group of 14 spread out between 2 tables. I ordered the lobster omelette, which came out to $33 (not including tip). What's hot- Quality. Delicious! It's rare for me to find a restaurant with proper seafood brunch options. For example, one of their specials for the day was a crab and asparagus Benedict, which sounded delicious. Everyone pretty much finished their meal. No one had any complaints. The lobster in my omelette were good size chunks and there was a good amount of shredded flavorful cheese. Their fingerling potatoes were tender, nicely flavored, and not too salty. - Menu. Their menu appears to have something for everyone, even possibly vegans.- Portions. Enough to get me full without any additional orders like appetizers and whatnot.- Price. For the quality and portions, good value for money.- Location. Very nice right by the harbor. On a nice day with nice weather, I'm sure this place is wonderful.- Service. Their staff are on top of things. Since our group was large. We asked if it's possible for everyone to get their own individual check. The staffer told us it would be easier not to. However, when we were finished and asked for our tab, he did break down every person's tab to what they ordered, which we all appreciated. Aside from that, they were pretty good with providing us with what we needed and asked for. What's not- Layout. As our group was decently large, they broke us up between 2 tables. That made it difficult for everyone to interact properly. Furthermore, the room they put us in has terrible acoustics. It's difficult to carry a conversation, because noise from other people talking carries so easily. Not conducive for any group over 4 people.- Parking. Difficult to find in this area. There is a decent number of parking lots and parking spaces, but parking is expensive. I found a lot about 1 block away and paid a flat rate of $15. There is street parking, but it's all timed and very difficult to find, especially given the day and time. Just be aware and provide yourself time to search for parking.Final answerWould be willing to return, but not a first choice.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing ambiance, amazing experience! My 4 girlfriends and I had a late reservation at Ada's on the River on a Sunday night and we were all very pleased with our dining experience. We shared 2 salads, each got an entree, and got about 4-5 sides to share. Honestly, we ordered way too much food because the portions were huge! The crab cake was easily a full pound of crab meat and could have been shared 2/3 ways. I ordered the mussels and there was seriously over 2 dozen mussels in my dish! We were visiting from out of town and leaving the next day, so there was no use of taking leftovers back to our room. I wish we ordered less, but at least we got to try most of the menu! I would absolutely recommend Ada's on the River!

Delicious food, great service, and fabulous ambiance. This is the perfect spot for an elevated meal on the water! Came here for dinner with some family and had a great time. Our waiter was knowledgeable and kind, food was so yummy, such a good experience all around. I got the scallops and my boyfriend got the pork chop, so good! Would recommend making a reservation, and just sharing this place is expensive so be prepared to drop some money!

What a nice birthday brunch ! I went to Ada's with my godmother for a birthday lunch on Sunday and I definitely had a grand time! Our server was very attentive and with me having my new plus one ( my baby boy) they were very accommodating on making sure we had proper seating for his car seat . I started with the crab toast and had the crab cake for my entree . I was feeling very crabby lol . Everything was delicious and again the staff was so kind. I will definitely be returning back

This place has absolutely delicious food. My wife are finding this to be a favorite. We have yet to be disappointed. As a heads up, you will most-likely have to pay for parking in a garage right under the restaurant, but it is flat rate and the attendant keeping an eye on things is great. Friendly. Humorous. Good natured. Service in Ada's is very good, and the atmosphere is fantastic with a wonderful view. As to the food. Most portions are very healthy. Sides are ala carte, but the upside is you decide what you have. We started with the mini black brioche, which we love. For the entrees, flavors here are perfect. I had the bone-in pork chop, while my wife had the salmon. Our sides were a roasted sweet potato and the brussel sprouts. Everything was delicious.

We had an end of the year get together for our office here. I arrived about 6 min early- they said "You are the first one to arrive" but nothing else and wouldn't seat me...then a couple more people came trickling in- and then they say "give us a few minutes"; although, it was 6 min past our reservation time. It seemed like the front staff was just chatting- and having laughs. First things first- everything was just slow. Ordering, getting our food, all of it! Server was nice but we had some hiccups in delivering food to the right person (granted it was a big party). I think the service is the most important- and I think this was a let down from start to finish. Especially for the price range- I expected better service. The vibe is nice- pretty views, elegant interior, beautiful plateware. The food was either delicious or "just ok". The brioche bun with the charred orange butter was a hit- so tasty, perfect harmony of salty and sweet! The house side salad was also very good- the charred lettuce brought another dimension to the food. However, my steak was dry and not very tender- I left over half of it. Lemon tart was...tart- but that's what it's supposed to be! Parking is either paid street/lot parking nearby. They do not validate. Maybe give yourself an extra 10-15 minutes to park and walk over. TLDR: Food was good for the most part, views and vibes spectacular; however, not very impressed with service.

The vibe on a nice summer afternoon is everything you need. With views of the water and friendly staff Ada's did not disappoint. We tasted the mahi sandwich and coming from Florida the expectation was high. This was a great option for mahi and who doesn't love a steak fry! Our server was actually a bartender and gave us a great quick lesson in wine and offered drink suggestions. Overall, this restaurant made me feel like I was back in South Florida dining with a view.

Adas is right on the riverfront and have both indoor and outdoor seating. When I went it was such a warm and beautiful day so seating outside required a wait. Inside the seating was very close, only a feet or so from people so I opted to sit at the bar for more privacy. The menu had several delicious choices for both food and drink and our bartender was sweet and checked in often. The market fish sandwich served mahi-mahi. It was a bit messy with a lemon aïoli, but very yummy! The thick cut fries were the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! The wine and cocktails were well crafted and yummy! I'd come back here anytime!
