Dining at A Kitchen & Bar for a Friday lunch, it was easy to get a table. Inside the AKA Hotel just off of Washington Circle, it's on the bottom level. The design is inviting and the staff are friendly and efficient. For lunch, I ordered a latte, their burger, chickpea panisse, and chocolate gelato with sesame crunch. Everything tasted great, but the burger was the winner. It comes with two patties and order bacon on it. The chickpea panisse is well done with the charred carrots, kuri squash tahina, and hot pepper. If you need a quiet spot for a lunch meeting with good food, go here.

The place was planned to be fancy. The interior is stylish and minimalistic. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is overpriced and tastes fine. Portions are on a smaller side. Would not be worth this much money thought. Drinks overpriced as well. If you are not caring about your budget, then sure, give it a try.

I came in for Brunch but left with a feeling of so much joy. I was greeted by music of warmth. The music truly was inviting and allowed you to feel in the mood for breakfast. The person truly put together a well crafted playlist. The decor is also very aesthetically pleasing. I feel as if I am in an oasis of greenery and calmness. The details are well put together. The food is beautifully plated a great as well.i was so hungry and enjoyed looking at the plate. Service was impeccable and a great experience. Definitely come and try. You will not regret it.

Fort the most part, A. Kitchen + Bar is a hit -- for me anyway. The decor is simple and modern. We tried the ribs, clams, salad and had awesome drinks. The clams were my favorite -- seasoned so well!Service was also a good experience. Typically, when restaurants are new, customer service can be a bit shaky as they get acclimated. All went well, and I hope you enjoy it too! Cheers

Ordered Scallop crude, crispy oyster mushroom and potato rosti appetizers, and the bavette steak (rare). Everything was excellent. Really outstanding was the potato rosti and the steak was tender and cooked to perfection. Our dessert was Paris.....(sorry, can't remember the name) but it was a cream filled pastry that was so good too. We left the restaurant stuffed and happy. Our waiter went over and beyond in service.
