We drove around for at least 20 mins ...looking for that next foodie adventure. We were warmly greeted in Thai and upon entering it was larger restaurant space than I thought. There was a picture menu and written menu. We a familiar with Thai food but browsing the picture menu reminds you of things that you hadn't considered! The menu is larger than most menus.Things like beef jerky, fried noodles, or the sausage are things that you don't always find on restaurant menus but it was there! The dishes made me think Thai with Chinese influences. There was char siu in the crispy noodles and the sweet/sour shrimp is reminiscent of a shrimp canton. Growing up around Thai and Chinese culture is like eating comfort food for me. While food can be subjective, this fit our flavor profiles and what we expect and are used to quite nicely. We've already told our besties to add this to the dining rotation!

Had such a lovely time here for a lunch. We got Thai Iced Tea, egg rolls to share, and I got the crispy basil duck. We even got extra egg rolls on the house as an appetizer, which was so great. My crispy basil duck came out Hot and Crispy and Tasty. The hostess was super engaging and the place was spacious and cleanDef worth a revisit. Thank you!

Location / Ambiance 3.5/5- In shopping center with many restaurant with plenty parking. Great spacious restaurant perfect for all type of gathering. Service was okFood 1/5- I was beyond excited to try this place since it so many options of Thai dishes that you won't see in normal Thai resturant in America. Roast Duck on rice 2/5 ($17.95)- Ok noting about this duck was roasted. I can tell that duck was boil in five spice which I wouldn't mind but the meat that i got what like the meat on the bottom of the pot that I am sure this soup base for the duck noodle soup. You cannot tell what part of the duck it was just left over duck meat the probably shredded in the process of stewing. The amount of duck was so tiny compared to the rice. The broth over the rice is ok, but you would think it will be thicker gravy over duck like how they serve in Thailand. Papaya Salad Isan Spicy4/5 $8.95- It was good but not Isan Style and super sweet , just because you shrimp paste in it doesn't make it isan Pad thai beef Lunch 3/5 $9.95 - great price for it is but was nothing special very sweet American version of pad thaiIt not bad but I wouldn't come back on taste preference

I came to 29 Pad Thai after receiving a recommendation that this is a good spot for lunch. This is a sister restaurant to 9 Pad Thai, so I was happy to try this place. We ordered the drunken noodle and pad kaprow lunch special, both extra spicy, and a Thai iced coffee. Service was nice, and our food was brought out piping hot. The lunch special is $9.95 and comes with a spring roll, so a pretty good deal. The food was tasty, but everything was very sweet, and not all that spicy, so I'm thinking maybe they misunderstood me when I asked for the food to be spicier. I would definitely return, and love to try their other dishes.

No hostess. No real waiter/waitress. Wanted to order Panang curry at 12pm and they had no rice ready and said I had to wait for 20 minutes for the rice to be ready. Couldn't get my water refilled. They really didn't do much renovation from previous restaurant owners. Table is spread throughout the space so nice and spacious. Wouldn't recommend.

This place is in the "soft opening" stage so they do not have their liquor license yet (or I would give it 5 stars) but the food is very authentic. I've been to Thailand and this is one of the few places that I can say "hits the mark" everything tasted great and the service was phenomenal. It wasn't crowded at all (which I liked ) and they checked on you often. We will definitely return in a month or two (once the liquor license is approved )
