Wanted a quick bite for dinner and found this place, which has both traditional sushi rolls and some modern takes like sushi burritos and donuts. The sushi burgers were not available even though they were listed on the website. I've never had a sushi burrito so I thought I would try it out. I loved all the textures and flavors with every bite. The crunch of the tempura, lettuce and cucumber, the umami of the eel sauce, etc. Overall I enjoyed it, but the only thing is that something in it was decently salty so I couldn't taste the flavor of the soft shell crab very well, which was a little disappointing. They offer both sit down and takeout, but I got take out. It does seem to be somewhat casual for a sit down. Not quite fast food but definitely not your standard sushi bar experience, and the prices are reflective of that

Being in Seattle sets a high bar for sushi, and the fish here was not as fresh as I'd come to expect. The overall quality of ingredients missed the mark for me. I think they leaned into that by being more of an Americanized sushi place, instead of going for the authentic look. For example, I got spicy salmon and it was just normal salmon sushi with a "spicy mayo" drizzled on it. They also had items in fun shapes like "sushi donuts". While I'm normally big on aesthetics and presentation, for me personally this felt a little kitschy, but I'm sure there is an audience for this style. The service was excellent though! The waitress was really sweet and nice and the staff were very welcoming!!

Fairly casual fusion sushi spot in Seattle that is very well priced! I got this through delivery and the food is packaged well and still tasted very fresh. I took advantage of the buy 1 get 1 Uber Eats offer so each roll order was $7 for 10 pieces. Even without the promo, at $13 before tax and tip, it is a very good price, almost 30% less than other similar restaurants. But the focus of the review is more on the food itself, which is very very good. I got the Treasure Island roll and Cali Crunchy roll. The Treasure Island roll is like a California roll but has spicy tuna on top. Spicy tuna is not too spicy but the California roll itself is solid. They prepare the pieces small enough to consume in one bite easily, if you wish, but it is still packed with flavor. The Cali Crunchy roll is one that I would order again. It has crispy onion that really enhanced the flavor. I would have opted for a different base roll that is California roll, something with shrimp tempura inside, if I go back again, but I opted for this since that is the only other roll that has the buy 1 get 1 free special. Overall order there were 40 pieces of sushi, which is a lot. I'd say if you are hungry, 25 pieces is more than sufficient, and a nice, satisfying meal is 20 pieces, which is roughly 2.5 or 2 rolls, respectively. I ate my order in 2 sittings, the second occasion the next day, and the rice held pretty well in the fridge - it was not too hard, though it starts to.

It took us awhile to find this place, but I'm so glad we did! We were greeted with big smiles and seated immediately. It wasn't too busy as we arrived, but had a steady flow of diners and to-go orders. We were so impressed with the three young men who run this place. They worked well together, and you could sense the camaraderie in the open kitchen. We ordered miso soup, spring vegetable rolls with sweet and sour sauce, a six-piece sashimi (fresh salmon and tamago), a wasabi roll and Philly roll. All of it, was served exactly as ordered, and clearly made with very fresh ingredients. The salmon sashimi showed absolutely no signs of fat. It was high quality! No wonder this place gets five star reviews. They deserve every one of them.

I've tried Wasabi Sushi SEA a couple of times now, and it's a solid new (ish) spot up on Pine Street. Whether you're ordering takeout or dining in, it's a good experience! The Omega 3 Bowl is the perfect option if you are looking for something that feels fresh and doesn't fill you up too much/leave you feeling gross. It's one of their poké bowls that comes with tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. The amount of sauce on this one felt a little light, but that's part of what probably made it taste so fresh. Quality of fish was great and was delicious.I've also had the Cali Crunchy Roll as takeout which is crab salad, avocado, cucumber, fried onion, and with spicy & eel sauce. This roll is loaded up high with extra goodies and the addition of fried onions is an interesting (but delicious) take. Provides a good texture, too, as the rest of the roll is pretty soft. I have to admit there's more for me to eat here and my journey of their menu isn't over - I still have a poké bowl or two I'd love to try, a ton of their rolls, and sushi burritos are always a hit for me. I'll be back soon!

***Solid 4.5 stars****This place showed up on radar as we were looking for places to eat in the capitol hill area. It is fairly new, but it looks like they are originally from Portland and has made a new location in Washington :)The menu is extensive with a lot of options all seafood/sushi based. A couple of things caught our eyes and so we ordered them:Shrimp katsu sushi burger ---seem gimmicky but it was surprisingly good. The rice patties was fragile and it was a mess but the flavor of the rice and texture was sooo good. The rice was a nice contrast to the crispy shrimp. It also came with sweet potato fries and those were some of the best I had. Everything about this dish was superb in my opinion and it was $12! You can't get a burger for $12 anymore here and it's substantial portion.Sushi donut with spicy tuna filling ---i had this once in Australia and so I was excited to finally see this in the states. They were pretty good. The salmon and tuna on top was fresh and the Avocado gives it a nice enhancement. I really like trh tuna filling inside the donut so you're not just eating plain rice .

Did takeout from the restaurant so can't speak too much to the ambiance but my order was ready for pick up 13 min after I called so I appreciated that!I got the Treasure Island Roll, and while yummy, was not mind blowing. I did really like the quantity especially for the price ($14 for 10 good sized pieces)! I'll come back/order takeout again if I need something quick and close by

I'm devouring my food as I write this review. I was in the mood for salmon sushi. Nothing fancy. Got the nigiri. It was perfect. Had to try the sushi donut. It slaps. Worth it. Tried a piece of the chicken karage. Had to stop eating the donut so I could eat the karage. White meat chicken. Delicious. Only negative feedback is that it could have used a little more spicy mayo. Food was ready faster than expected. Would definitely go back.
