Warthog Barbeque Pit

What a disappointment this was. The place was empty and there were many items that were not available. The Mac and Cheese with pulled pork had many things wrong. 1. It was lukewarm to start2. The pulled pork was more like pulled pork fat. Very little pork and when you did get meat it was not flavorful at all. No smoke flavor. 3. The Mac was flavorless and tasted meh like ZERO seasoning and bland. The cheese sauce was not good at all. 4. The "Homemade Pie" was only good if you ate the berry topping as the cream cheese filling had zippy flavor. Overall it was a disappointment to pay $50 for a meal a 5th grader could have made better.

Moo cluck oink was overpriced and had 1 rib, 1 dry chicken breast, and brisket that was hard to find, beans were beneath everything I think but hard to eat it all while sorting through the bones. Pretty disappointing.

Wow! How have I not been to Warthog in Tacoma. First walk-in and smells like smoke! Yes! Decor is fabulous and matches the exterior log cabin. Feel like a rustic hunters cabin with several mounted collections. Ok! Incredible. I am not a fan of saucy BBQ and this is not. I shared the brisket Rueben. Generous portion of brisket, great bread and cheese and kraut. Fries were amazing. Ordered a side of coleslaw. Everything incredible!

So today, I am on Fife, and to my amazement I get the wafting aroma of pork in the air, one parking lot away there is this wood cabin with a few cars park in front of it, I map the location and to my sorpresa is a barbecue joint!!!So as a good Texas expatriate (lived there for 15 years) I wanted to try it.I was not disappointed, ordered pulled pork and is to die for; fat dripping sauce sticking meal.Satisfaction guaranteed!!!

I've ordered to-go meals here twice. The first time I ordered was 2 years ago. Then I'd rate it 1/5. My fries were raw/undercooked, found curly hairs in my pulled pork sandwich. My partner ordered brisket and it was extremely fatty. We threw all the food into garbage because it was inedible. Truly disgusting. Second time was last week, i was very nervous it was gonna be terrible again but it was actually very good. I rate it 4/5. Food was cooked all the way through. I ordered smoked turkey sandwich and my partner ordered the brisket sandwich. We both enjoyed. Brisket had very little fat and meat was good. Turkey was great, it had a layer of fat on the rims of the meat but i peeled it off, no big deal. (I'm very picky)We ordered a bunch of fries and they were all cooked. Not raw. Kind of like 5 guys fries! Mac & cheese was .. ok. Couldnt taste any cheese and i felt like it was just macaroni swimming in a liquid. I'd say if you had a bad experience, try it again. I was pleasantly surprised and I think my partner & I will be ordering again in the near future!

Fast service and fun decor. Pulled pork had good flavor but quite a bit of fat and non edible bits that needed to be picked out - if you made it at home you would have the same thing. At a restaurant I usually appreciate it sorted through a little bit more. Aside from that good smoked meat flavor overall, bbq sauce bar was great, creamy Mac n cheese and I would order it again.

Plenty of food for the price you pay. Pretty good food too. However, some parts of the BBQ we received was a bit dry. They do offer a BBQ sauce bar, so slathering the yummy BBQ sauce on it made it better. The cornbread it comes with is very dense though- almost like a brick. The sweet tea wasn't sweet enough either for my taste. I lived in the South for 5 1/2 years, so I may be very biased. The restaurant is clean though and the servers, although new and couldn't give us suggestions when we asked, were very honest and polite. I wouldn't mind coming back here casually.

The warthog barbecue is very very good. It's comfy cozy for family and friends. Gary the owner works very hard to make sure his customers are happy

Don't order this through door dash. They forgot most of my order and then closed the store.

Had the pulled pork sandwich with fries, it was delicious. Service was excellent, I was there before lunch crowd. The atmosphere was relaxing.
