We visited for dinner one night as most restaurants in the area were closed. We came by the restaurant a little more than an hour before closing. And before we were even seated they asked us if we were ready to order as the kitchen is closing. I asked them what time they closed, they said you can sit here but the kitchen will be closed. So naturally we were rushing to order the first few things we saw on the menu. When we asked about drinks, she said, you can see the cooler, just grab what you want and we'll charge you for it. We were a little hesitant after that and just stuck with the room temp waters. Once our food came out, we truthfully didn't remember what we ordered so we asked her and she goes I'm not sure but if you look at the menu you can see. So just ate. My husband was craving fried rice so he ordered the chicken fried rice and it was essentially a bowl of rice with a hefty about of soy sauce, frozen vegetables and an egg on top. The vegetables were still rather frozen despite everything around it being hot. So he ate a few bites and just set it aside. Onto the sushi, I have no recollection of what we ordered... but they all tasted about the same and look the same. The tamago was nice. Overall the restaurant is a family run restaurant, we would've just enjoyed our experience better if we had more communication and service.

Bought some delicious sushi on the go here. We ordered California rolls, salmon rolls, and salmon/avocado rolls. It was eight pieces of each and the cost ranged from around +/- $7.99 per eight which we felt was very reasonable considering they make it fresh. It was delectable! We will be back. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. They also have ramen, which I know my youngest would love to try in the future.

I really enjoyed this meal! I have never been to Wajo Sushi before this visit but wanted to get some takeout to try it. The reviews were good. When I walked in the restaurant it had a small, cozy feel to it. I was surprised by the presentation of the meal because I wasn't expecting much for a pickup order. The sushi was delicious and I'd definitely come here again!

my go-to local sushi! I love their spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll and their vegetable rolls. I also love swapping out brown rice for the traditional rice. They have a great miso soup and their spicy ramen is perfectly spicy and flavorful. I get their take-out at least twice a week!

Ordered veggie gyoza delivery and they sent pork, made me very sick and was the first meat I've swallowed in 25 years due to their mistake. Vegetarians and especially those with allergies be very careful

I found Wajo Sushi when I was searching around. I did not know it was so close to the area I live. I have to say it was refreshing to see. The service was great! The ambiance reminded me of a restaurant in Korea! The food quality was alright. I wished they had the menu items I was looking for but, it was sadly not available. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a small local shop that isn't owned by a large company!
