My in-laws catered from Wah Feng for lunch. They bought a lobster dish, a fish dish, two pork dishes, sweet and sour shrimp, empress shrimp, rice, congee, a beef dish, string beans, Cantonesse flat rice noodle, and a beef dish. The shrimp was still very crispy after being brought home. The beef had a very good flavor to it. Overall, the food quality was very good. This makes me want to go back and try more of the menu in the store.

I'm sorry, but I just don't understand all the good reviews. I understand they've been around for a long time and have gained some loyal customers. But I hate to say the food was average at best. Ordered:Crab Rangoons - 2 out of 5Wanton Soup - 2 out of 5Orange chicken - 1 out of 5Sweet and sour pork - 2 out of 5Beef and pea pods - 1 out of 5Rangoons a bit doughy and filling pretty bland.Wanton soup had many wantons and a good amount of pork which was tender. Not much flavor to the broth.Orange chicken was gooey, not crispy at all. Chicken was dry and chewy. Sweet and sour pork looked very unappealing, but actually tasted pretty good. Beef and pea pods. The beef was gray and a bit chewy. Not much flavor at all to the sauce. It's a shame. I tend to appreciate these little hidden gems but this was a miss. It's unfortunate that the better Chinese food in this area consists of Panda Express and PF Chang's.

This place is one of the best kept secrets. I used to live around the area and go here all the time, and now i make a special trip every so often even though i'm an hour out. You will never taste potstickers as good as these , even in china town, that's a Jon B guarantee! The service is fantastic as they always treat you like family and you can even see grandma cooking in the kitchen. It's a legit take out place so not much seating, but the ambiance lets you know that you're at a real chinese take out.

disclaimer: the rating is only because i've been to a better chinese restaurant in the city. that being said, the food is on par with any given chinese restaurant. it's nothing special, but will get the job done. portion size, in my opinion, is just about right. not too much, not too small. have only gotten carry out so i can't speak to its ambiance, but it seems clean and presentable.
