I felt like I was greeted by family! Love the simple, down-home atmosphere. Biscuits and gravey were best I've ever had. The Owner and his wife were sitting at the counter when we left. I had to meet them, say "hi" and tell them how much we enjoyed it.Why did it take me so long to try this place? We will be back!!

You come to the wagon wheel for that small town cafe feel and good home cooking. You don't come if you're looking for a trendy, bright, sterile aesthetic. This is where you'll find the old Cave Creek locals who have been coming for years. This is where you'll find reasonable prices for good food. Biscuits and sausage gravy is my favorite breakfast, and these were fine, but the standout is the chicken fried steak! It's lightly breaded, so you get full flavor instead of just breading. It's just the right amount and not too filling. There's something about having a simple cup of coffee amongst old cowboys, a screened-in porch, and John Wayne photos. Reminds me of childhood.

It's a cute local restaurant that is cash only and if you forget cash there is an ATM in the restaurant. Very basic menu. Was an ok crowd at 8am and started to get full by 9am. Waitstaff seemed to know all the locals by name and created everyone that came in and also knew what a few peoples orders were without asking if they wanted anything. Out waitstaff was great, they helped each other out when it got a little busy. Water and coffee stayed full. Food service was personable and quick. Also has patio seating. Food was good, my French toast wasn't overly sugary, the biscuits were good the gravy was a tad bland but overall a pretty neat little place to grab a quick breakfast.

Our favorite Sunday morning breakfast place !The food is great. Cooked to perfection. Our waitress (Linda) knows what we want and always greets with a cheerful smile, a great sense of humor and excellent service. Thanks for making us feel welcome. We'll be back. ... Rich and Patricia

It's a little hole in the wall restaurant. It's old and a bit dirty. However they have the best pancakes I've ever eaten. I haven't tried any of the other menu items since I've only been going back for their pancakes. It comes out pretty quickly and is so fluffy perfect I highly recommend trying it.

First I would like to say that we stumbled upon this place and stopped in for some breakfast. It's a little whole in the wall kinda joint and we didn't know what to expect. We were greeted by our southern server, Alabama, and she is just absolutely delightful! Funny and kept us laughing the whole time! The place looks a little run down but hey it fits the name perfectly and we love it!There's something to be said about a chef/cook who can make eggs perfect every single time! We've now been back more than a dozen times and not once have we sent anything back to the kitchen! Amazing! It's a local diner*esq vibe and you know what you're going to get here! Nothing fancy and no fancy labels to hide behind. Just good old fashioned food with lots of flavor!

Dirty, run down, snarky wait staff. I get the appeal of "hole in the wall" restaurants but this place was not for me.

Wagon wheel is just a good old school stick to your ribs kind of breakfast joint. You won't have anything fancy and the service is friendly. If you're in the area and want breakfast it does the trick.

A dive restaurant. I enjoyed my breakfast but husband said his bacon had an aftertaste. The water was obviously from tap. I give it three stars foe the service. our waitress didn't greet us hello nor give her name. Upon paying, no goodbye, have a good day or thank you. Also, asked if she could turn the fan down and she told me no. It would have been nice not to be so cold while I was eating. This was our first time and last.
