Had a phenomenal experience at a different local Mexican steakhouse so couldn't help comparing this one with that one. Vue Prime had some lowlights that prevent me from giving it 5 stars.I'll start with the highlights. We walked in and the interior looked pretty nice with a semi-private area for large parties showcased as you walk in. My sister was able to make a reservation online for our party of 7 one week in advance so that was great. Our waitress asked up front if we were going to be all on one check, and she was easily able to split our check into two as we requested. We started our dinner with some cocktails including the tequila sunrise, prickly pear margarita, and pineapple mezcal mule. We also got some appetizers including the bone marrow, elote, and ceviche. Everyone loved their drinks and appetizers. A few of us ordered steaks and the sauces they came with were very good (had a choice of red salsa, green salsa, chimichurri, and tiger sauce).Now the lowlights:1. The provided tap water didn't taste good to me. Maybe I'm a water snob but you could just tell that the water isn't filtered well. Every I took a sip it tasted powdery/gritty.2. We requested our steaks to be cooked medium-rare but they were unfortunately cooked too long and were pretty much medium-well. I ordered the premium 30 Day Dry Aged ribeye steak for $60 so this was disappointing. Maybe it's on me too for not saying something about it. Other than the suboptimal doneness, my steak tasted pretty good.3. The service was a bit shoddy a couple times throughout the night. When they were bringing out the food they didn't know who got what so we had to shuffle around the food a few times until everyone got what they ordered. When we were finished with our meals our waitress took away our plates and kind of disappeared for about 20-30 minutes until we were finally able to ask her for the check. Seemed like when she cleared our plates she could've asked if we wanted any desserts, but by the time she finally came back we just wanted to go home. Overall our experience wasn't bad, but could've been better given the cost of dining here. Because of these three lowlights, not sure if I'll return; I much preferred the other steakhouse we went to.

The food was amazing.Served on a hot piece of charcoal so it continues to cook while you eat. Highly recommend lowering the cooking time.I had a filet mignon and it was great and so tender you could cut it with your fork. Amazing flavor and a little extra rock salt on the side was PERFECT. I ordered mine medium rare and then sliced it and let it continue to cook while eating.The vegetables change, they are what is currently fresh in season.My fiance had the Molajete Mixto. You can choose from 4 sides he chose Steak fries and of course, comes with fresh corn tortillasThe atmosphere is great but a little dark bring your reading glasses.I ordered a prickly pear margarita and it was perfect.Was an amazing dinner.Was able to meet the owner and he is so nice.They have only been open 4 weeks and I highly recommend checking them out !!!!!We will be returning !!!!!

Drinks were great! Food?! Not as good as we had hoped. We ordered the dry aged steak, and it tasted as if it was previously frozen. We asked for it to be cooked medium rare. When cut into, there were no juices flowing. Such a disappointment. I ordered the arachera, and it had no flavor and was tough. I really hoped for this place to be great. Maybe it's still new and they need some tome to get the flow going?

It smelled SO good when we came inside. Wow!I loved the ambiance and the steer sculpture hanging from the ceiling. The interior was inviting yet subdued with low level lighting. Great from a romantic perspective.Our server, Kay was a family member of one of the cooks. They inspired my experience with their recommendations . Over the top! She eats the food and has great ideas. Loved them!The potatoes are amazing. If you say they are too dry, you must have scrapped off all the amazing toppings because it's is one of the best steak side potatoes ever!Kay made our dessert - Concha Rellena. It had ice cream, breading, fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries) and drizzled with chocolate sauce. Loved it.New spot and if you are a beef eater you DEFINITELY have to stop in and visit!

Amazing food! Great drinks! Upscale atmosphere without requiring dressy attire. Our server was attentive, helpful and friendly. Prices range from $$$ to $$. Really glad to have a nicer restaurant in the Covington area!

Went during Sunday afternoon was not very busy everything we ordered was great food came out at a reasonable time waiter Jasmine was very attentive and helpful. Food was hot sizzling. we ordered all our steaks medium and they cooked it just right. They had a couple of menu items that you can share so we tried it and it was the right amount. Price was pretty good considering it's a steakhouse. In my opinion it is the best steakhouse in Kent right now. The place is way nicer than I was expecting to be on the inside. It was very clean on the inside and outside the bathrooms were clean wasn't too noisy it was a little bit cold when we were there but it wasn't freezing.Will definitely be coming back.

Eagerly waited for Vue to open and it did not disappoint. Everything we ordered was delicious! Great decor - love all of the black - and our waiter was really nice. Can't wait to go back to try more steaks.

My husband and I came in to celebrate the successful move of our office yesterday and we absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is classy, and welcoming. The changes they have made to the inside have completely transformed the whole feel of the place. We received excellent service from very friendly wait staff. He made great suggestions for our lunch and took his time explaining each dish. The cocktails were well-made and nicely presented. But the showstopper was the food. First-rate! The meats were tender and flavorful, the presentation was perfect. We left no evidence! We truly enjoyed our experience here and we can't wait for a return visit with friends!
