I have been to this location twice now once for brunch and once for lunch. Of the items I've tried out. I would highly recommend the brunch burrito. It basically has all the same ingredients as a hamburger, but for some reason, in burrito form, it's even better than a burger. I also tried two of their fruity, refreshing cocktails, the bramble jam and the booze beery. Each time I went the staff was friendly, it was busy but we didn't have to wait for seating. Looking forward to trying out more items from their menu.

Food 10/10Service was on point. As soon as you enter someone is there to greet you. MUST have ID when walking in. Full bar and considered best in the area so everyone must be 21+ It's giving dive bar but clean. Very artsy! I would try anything on the menu. Based on what I had, worth a trip to at least try!

$$The ambience was fabulous! Our server was wonderful, and the food was good.We dined here prior to going to a concert in the vicinity. There's all sorts of historical paraphernalia all over the bar... For those of you who enjoy looking around. For you ladies, the bathroom was clean and large. Make memories and safe travels!

Fun restaurant! Best known for their burgers. Nachos were bomb! The fried pickles were pretty good too. The service was great, very friendly staff. Bathrooms were okay. The decor is very horror-esqu. This is an ATL staple, definitely worth checking out!

Love the ambiance, but the food was not all that great. I love onion rings so I ordered the onion rings as my side but it was way too oily and more breading vs the onions. Wasn't my fav. The waiter guy was super friendly and it was nice to see my friend so I did have a good time overall. Maybe I'll try something else next time.

While looking up places to eat in Atlanta, The Vortex kept coming up. Although I was a bit skeptical at first, with its gimmicky skull entrance that seemed to be a tourist trap, but I ended up finding its kitschy-ness pretty cool. What really sold me were the burgers. Now, I'm not even a huge burger person, but wow, that guac burger (medium-rare) was magical! Super juicy and tender, it almost melted in my mouth. All the toppings and fixings paired perfectly with the patty-- my only wish was that there was a bit more guac in the burger (after all, it's called the guac burger), but otherwise, a really REALLY solid burger.Service was nice and attentive, and I will say that, while The Vortex is touristy and gimmicky, they know what they're doing with their burgers. Go for the quirky, alternative vibes (21+ only), but stay for the food. You won't regret it!

The burgers are the show at Vortex so that's what I had. It was excellent along with the yummy side salad. The decor is eclectic and what you would expect from Little 5 Points. Excellent service. The waitress gave us her honest opinion on a menu item which I greatly appreciated. It's definitely a casual establishment which I like.

Walking into The Vortex in Little Five Points, Atlanta, you're immediately struck by its unique vibe. The place has a nice, cozy atmosphere, with an edge that makes it stand out from your typical burger joint. It's not over the top, but there's something undeniably appealing about the eclectic decor and the bustling energy of the place. Despite being packed, it feels comfortable, like you're part of the in-crowd just by being there. The customer service was solid, friendly, and attentive, even though it took a while to get our checks. I could see the staff was stretched thin, juggling a big crowd with a smile and doing their best. It didn't dampen the experience, though--it was clear that everyone was there to have a good time. Now, onto the main event: the food. I went for the Zombie Apocalypse Burger with a side of tater tots, and let me tell you, this burger is not for the faint of heart. Cooked to a perfect medium, the patty was juicy and flavorful, exactly how a burger should be. But the real stars of the show were the toppings: a perfectly cooked egg and some seriously amazing pulled pork. Each bite was a harmonious blend of rich flavors, the egg adding a creamy richness and the pulled pork bringing a smoky, savory depth. It all came together in a way that made this one of the top burgers I've had--each ingredient complementing the other, none overpowering.Even the tater tots were a pleasant surprise. I've had my fair share of tots that left a weird aftertaste, but not these. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right--they didn't need any ketchup. They were good on their own, adding a satisfying crunch to each bite of the meal.Overall, The Vortex delivered in every way I hoped it would. It might not be a place you go for a quiet dinner, but if you're in the mood for a killer burger and a lively atmosphere, it's hard to beat. I'll definitely be returning, eager to explore more of their menu and soak in more of that unpretentious, welcoming vibe.

Vortex Burger is more an experience than somewhere you'd go to eat a light lunch. It's pretty tasty, though, but just be careful about how much you order (they do put the gazillion calories of each thing on the menu LOL)The exterior is cute with a big skull sculpture as the entrance, with his eyes having the "vortex" swirly theme too.I ordered just a regular burger, and even that had a patty on it that was the size of my hand. The meat was super well cooked though, like your family cookout would serve up off the grill. I got the tots as my side and they were nice and salty and plentiful.I'd say go for the tasty normal burgers, but skip the double/triple bypass "challenge burgers" if you know what's good for you!
