Big fan of Von's! Always have been!Have tried this Woodinville location twice now!Service is great! The food is fantastic! The vibe and inside is a little quieter than the downtown one which I like. Of course, have to try the scratch Manhattan and scratch martini! They are the best deal around, and tasty every time. They have some really fun cocktails that are whimsical and fun, worth trying one of these as well!Food wise. freshly made mac and cheese you can never go wrong. Their drive in burger is fantastic and a great value for the size!Fries are great! BLT is tasty. Cubano is very good as well!To date have not had a bad thing at Von's yet!

My boyfriend and I went on a double date with our friends here on Saturday night, and we had a great time! We didn't have reservations, so we decided to arrive around 4pm to try to get a table for an early dinner. The hostess was able to seat us right away at a table on the back patio, though we were right next to the fence/road, making it a bit noisy with the cars driving by. We had been to the Von's location in Seattle one time before, and my boyfriend could not stop talking about their Mediterranean vegan sourdough pasta. So of course, he had to order it again! I ordered the Tellicherry pepper and smoked Gouda sourdough pasta. They were both delicious, and we were equally impressed as our first time. My boyfriend also ordered a side of broccoli, which didn't end up coming with our food. Our waiter checked on us shortly after the food arrived and immediately noticed that the broccoli was missing. He made sure the broccoli was brought out promptly and he even removed it from our bill. We ended up chatting long after we finished eating and sat at our table for around 2 hours, we greatly appreciated that the waiter let us be even though we weren't ordering drinks or desserts. Overall a great evening at Von's!

In shortA big, bustling, family-friendly place with a great bar and a very solid kitchen. Super friendly and likable service. Prices on the high side, but, well, look where you are.Did I mention it gets PACKED? Remember a $5 to tip the valet. Parking is out of control. In longWe stopped in for a late Saturday lunch. No problem getting seated in the bar or on the patio, so we chose the patio. Many screaming toddlers made that an easy choice--one of them was still covering early Nirvana songs out in the parking lot until the valet brought the family car around. The staff were super friendly, though, starting with the young gal at the host station when we arrived. Her replacement, a middle-age white dude, left a lot to be desired in terms of charm, but at least he answered my question when I stopped by after eating. The menu is quite enticing here, almost hypnotizing. You're excited about the food and having trouble deciding what you're even most in the mood for. The patio is pretty beautiful, with comfortable seating, lots of umbrellas, fire pits, sofas, and, best of all, big old-fashioned diner utensils and napkins on the tables. Our server, an awesomely nice kid with lots of energy and good humor, showed up with his name chalked on his name tag under the title "Care Facilitator." It's hard to tell whether they're kidding with that. Are we supposed to feel like we're in rehab? If so...why the thousand spirits? I'll just have to accept the mystery. Chicken wingsThese are flavorful and definitely cooked correctly. We got the classic. They're a little too saucy (messy), and a little too sugary to get all the time, but easy enough to finish 6 of them once. $21 for 6. Caesar saladProudly described as the original early-20th-century recipe like the one they served at Cardini's, where it was invented in Tijuana. This is a very good Caesar. If I could double the garlic and add anchovies, it would be a classic and I would want it all the time. No protein, a piece of bread with it. $19. Double smash burgerSolid choice. Almost impossible to pick up, just falling apart and dripping constantly, even with quadruple-wrapped paper around it. I ate it with utensils and skipped the bun. Pickles were good, patties were tasty. $18. Probably the best deal of the day. DrinksEvery single one was made very well. They offer basic martinis and manhattans for $9. That's the way to go. We got the showy drinks with smoke and cotton candy and whatnot, at least for one round. Fun, but they're twice as much, so you can't do too many repeats on those. Our server was very cheerful about mixing up stuff tableside when the drink order required it, but I felt kinda bad. I just needed a cocktail, and shoulda ordered the inexpensive ones. We each had 3, and our lunch ended up being $215. Folks here in wine country might be used to that, but that's pretty spendy for lunch, especially in a place where you're surrounded by screaming kids for even part of your visit. I'll be back, but I'll think about what I order, and focus more on sourdough next time.

I want to say, I appreciate them modifying items to make them vegan. The chopped salad with the balsamic dressing was no good. Modified with no dairy. I got the lil pep pizza with no meat. Add mushrooms and sub vegan cheese. It was good while hot, but I'm not sure what brand of vegan cheese they use but it got super gummy and inedible. In my opinion. The drinks were coming out a bit slow but they were really good. Service was amazing and it's a great spot for happy hour or dinner, with a great interior aesthetic. Loved seeing how they were accommodating for families. Will definitely be back again.

Second time there. This place is 5-stars all the way around. It has the complete vibe of a hipper high end steak house without the stuffiness. The customer service from walking in the front door to leaving was excellent. Hostess was attentive and pleasant. The bartender was personable and makes a great Manhattan. The drink was very well balanced and loved how they use a mister at your table to mist the bitters into your glass before they pour from the shaker. Nice touch.I couldn't resist getting the smash burger again for lunch. It's that good. I'd would have said it's expensive, but now days I'd say they are on par with any other place in the same class. Smash burger is $18 but worth every penny. Add some THICK bacon and some fries and you're mid $20s. Again worth every cent. If you made your own at home, I'm not sure you'd be able to do it for much less given the high end ingredients they are using. Their fries are the soft skin on kind which you'd think are the greasy kind. But there really wasn't that much grease at all. If you want crispy version you need to ask and see what they can do (maybe they have a different version). I do prefer crispy fries (normally), but again these are very nicely cooked and seasoned, and their Jimmy Drive in sauce is TASTY (on the sweet side). I'd suggest getting a regular tarter (a great tarter, not dilly) and a jimmy to alternate. The patio was open and they have a nice layout of patio cushioned chairs and couches (maybe surrounding fire tables? Don't know but it's be the perfect setup). If you go during a busy time, I gotta believe parking will be tough. Even when not busy the place seems alive. It's kind of hard to describe. I wasn't rushing nor felt rushed at all but I was in and out under 60 mins. And a little secret is you get 25% of the bill if you have a WA drivers license. Thank you Vons and wish you a continued great success, but not so much that I can't get a table ;)Until next time...

Highly recommend trying this place!! They make their pasta, sourdough and baguettes from scratch. We had their popular Whole Milk Creamy Burrata Spread with a Sourdough Baguette as a starter and to eat, had Chicken and Artichoke sourdough pizza which was amazing!! Von's also has some great scratch cocktails. Service was good and quick, the restaurant was very busy for a Sunday afternoon so I recommend making reservations. They offer free valet parking as well and there is Northwest Spirits, their family's craft distillery, which is right next door.

Had a fantastic early Mother's Day celebration at Von's in Woodinville. The sourdough breads, including the pizza are phenomenal. Our server Jayma made our experience so wonderful with her knowledge and suggestions. She seemed genuinely interested in us! The host, Keya, was so engaging and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Service overall was outstanding for such a busy weekend. Cocktails were on point! Looking forward to visiting again soon!
