Von Elrod's Beer Hall & Kitchen

Modern German beer hall and garden conveniently located next to the Nashville Sounds stadium. Good selection of beers (although they were temporarily out of my first choice), from local beers to German favorites, many available in a one liter stein. Nice selection of bar food with fun variations on pretzels and sausages, although definitely more expensive than expected. Had the jalapeno cheddar sausage, which was tasty and had a nice slaw on top, but I don't know if it was worth $16. Crinkle fries were ok, not as crispy as could be.Service was good but parking is limited on the street and surrounding areas. Decent place for a beer and a sausage, but pricier than expected.

Walked and came here on a Sunday morning with friends. We were ready to start the morning with good food and drinks, that's exactly what we got! I am obsessed with pretzels their Bulgarian pretzel was a good consistency. Just enough to be an app and not fill up on before my actual meal. My friend got the white cheddar pimento cheese dip. Yes. Order that for sure. I got a regular bratwurst with a mac n cheese. Also yes. My friends got mimosas. It didn't kick in immediately but a good 10 minute walk to the farmers market did the trick. A cute spot to grab food off the strip and something nice to do around the area. Not sure the low ratings, but for a Sunday morning breakfast it was good :)

Always a good time here! If you get one of the large drinks that'll be enough alcohol to have you feeling good well after your meal. The pretzels are very natural tasting, so don't expect anything like Auntie Anne's. We've tried a variety of menu items and nothing disappoints. Very nice servers and great outside seating to enjoy a nice Nashville day.

First time visiting Nashville,Tn. Been down here since Thursday 9/19 and staying till Monday 9/23. Came down here for the Packers/Titans game and my one year anniversary. My wife and I stumbled upon this beer garden looking for a place for a good beer and an appetizer. Now, for those who read my Yelp reviews know I'm Wisconsin loud and proud but I have to admit, this place makes Wisconsin beer gardens/Halls look pretty amateur! They have 38 beers on tap. Wine, spiked seltzers, and cocktails on hand. Plus, a pretty epic food menu. My wife and I split a Classic Bavarian pretzel. Homemade in house, I could have eaten 3 of them! Next I am a huge bbq enthusiast and tried their Von Elrod's Smoked Wings. Probably top 3 best wings I've ever had! Had a smoky sweet heat dry rub and flash fried. Not greasy at all! College football on all their TVs and happy people galore. Dog friendly too!

I hadn't had food here in a few years. Their old menu was mostly just a variety of sausage, their current menu is amazing. The cheese curds were superb. I loved the brisket grilled cheese. I tried a bite of the pork belly sandwich and it was great too. They have a few really good vegetarian options which was great for our group. The beer I had I loved. They had a huge variety to pick from. The place has a very nice atmosphere. True beer hall feeling. Service was a little slow, they could have used a few more people working. I will definitely be back and to more often now that I know they have a large and great variety menu.

This was a cool vibe with long tables in the venue reminding us of a German beer hall with glass beer jugs. I can see this being a popular spot in October and was also told by some locals that St. Patty's day is quite a blast here to. Quite the selection of draft beers to offer.Server was efficient and food arrived extremely fast. The pretzel style monkey bread was very tasty and sweet. It was a little more firm than expected but the double layer of buns allowed for you to experience either a more icing bite or more rolls depending on your preference. It was be perfect for a larger group to split. Burrito was good and filling, added some hot sauce for a perfect spice up. Burrito was pretty dense and very filling - hard to fully finish. Might suggest for a party of 2 to split the burrito with an appetizer and you would be stuffed. Please note all servers have handheld cashiers so they observe you place the tip. Not my personal favorite but didn't ruin my experience here.

First of all: shout out to our server AJ! My friends and I hadn't been in the area before and AJ gave us a FULL rundown of spots to hit, good areas, and was overall an incredible server. This place is a must for brunch and I'd also love to sit and watch a game here. Outside was awesome and felt like being at a backyard party, but the inside was super cool as well and I'd totally go there if it were a bad weather day. The pretzel bun was the star of my meal (aside from the BAM mimosa of course). Check it out for brunch!

Love their outdoor patio. Trivia on Wednesday's is fun. Beer specials on Thursdays. Great for larger groups. Table service inside and some outside. Grass area is counter service.

What a cool spot. We were about to go to a baseball game and they announced a rain delay as soon as we got there. Luckily this spot was right across from the stadium. They had a ton of beers on tap and lots of food options. The bartender was alright, could have just been overwhelmed by the rush. Overall, good vibes and nice area to grab a drink.

The host was rude and was not accommodating to seating and being offered a server. We had to order everything at the bar although at times we saw several employees sitting at a table during our stay. I didn't enjoy the food or service. We left and went to Yee-Haws Brewery for the second day straight where we received exceptional service.
