There's not a lot of space in the store, but the ice cream is too good to not try!We got the tiramisu and pistachio gelato. It is so creamy and soft, stretches slightly, and the flavor for each are exactly as expected. Not a lot of searing space but definitely a hidden gem!

A bizarre experience, service-wise, hygiene-wise:Yesterday evening I went there with my daughter who wanted ice cream. There was a lone, non-smiling young man, late-teenage looking. We were the only customers in the store the whole time we were there. My daughter got her ice cream (and immediately went to eat it outside as she didn't like the smell inside), then I went too (damn, I can never resist ice cream when buying one for her). I asked to taste one of the flavors and he was going to get the spoon when suddenly he sneezes a big one into his hand. I was sure he was going to wash it briefly at the sink WHICH WAS RIGHT NEXT TO HIM, but was kind of appalled when instead he just took a paper towel and wiped his hand - then picked up a spoon, grabbing it at the side that goes into my mouth before flipping it the other side. I have to admit i swallowed my disgust (and fears of a new cold coming), didn't say a word and just tasted that flavor (you don't always feel comfortable making critical remarks face to face, right? Sometimes you just prefer to get a cold), but wait, listen what happens next. I made my pick, he starts to fill my cup when suddenly he loses his grip and the cup with ice cream in it dives to the floor. And while miraculously landing on the floor like a cat on its bottom side rather than on its top (perhaps ice cream cups obey different rules than buttered bread slices), unfortunately on the way there the ice cream touches his less-than-clean-looking apron and leaves a little (but visible) trail of ice cream on it. You think, he will now surely toss it and will refill a new cup for me, right? I thought so too. But - uttering a vague "oops sorry" or something, he lifts the miraculous cup from the floor, and before my amazed eyes which were expecting him to start anew, he just goes on to fill it with the next flavor! Finally I regain my adult confidence, assertiveness, and care for my health, and tell him in disbelief, "are you giving me this same ice cream?!" He looks at me puzzled and says - i am not making it up: "what, what's the problem with it?" "What do you mean", i tell him, "It just fell". "But it didn't tip over, it's clean", he says, and i tell him, "yes but it touched you apron on the way", and he says, "no it didn't" as i look at that little (but visible) ice-creamy trail right on the middle of his apron. I now say to him - amazed that I need to insist - that I want a different cup and he shrugs, tosses that ice cream and gets a new cup. No "sorry" or anything. He hands me the ice cream, sets the card reader for me to pay and walks off to the other side. I pay (no tip this time, sorry), I say an audible "thank you" and walk out, noting he does not respond. I sit outside next to my daughter and start to eat that ice cream, but realize that none of the three (!) flavors I picked (blood orange, wild berries, mango) is tasty at all. So I just toss all of it in the trash can nearby. So much for "Italian gelato".

Voga Italian Gelato is a great little spot to drop by for a sweet bite in the Inman Park neighborhood - the menu is basic and straightforward. The affogato comes with 3 options - Milano, Florence or Roma - all depending on personal preference of hazelnut, chocolate or caramel. It also helps with narrowing down gelato flavors since they are already suggested on the menu for you. I don't know why I'm not here more often but if you're ever in the hood and craving gelato (versus Ben and Jerry's ice cream down the street...) then Voga is for you!

It was a hot summery day off of the beltline so I decided to try the natural lemon gelato. It tasted like a Minute Maid iced lemonade freeze thing. It was super refreshing and tasty!

It's a bit hard to find as it's off the main street, but it's worth looking for. I arrived nowhere near closing time to find they were running out of some gelato flavors (hopefully more coming???), but what I got was excellent. The texture of all the flavors was exquisitely smooth, and the pure dairy flavor shone through on my stracciatella. I opted for a non-dairy dark chocolate flavor and felt no disappointment in having done so. Various cakes and things were available in a freezer as well. They had some indoor and outdoor seating, and the price was premium but not excessive for what was clearly a top-quality dessert.

The gelato was fantastic - very indulgent. It's hidden behind a bunch of restaurants Inman Park which is why I probably haven't gone before.

Fantastic flavor selection and even better gelato! The fior di latte was heavenly, and the passionfruit was refreshing. The chocolate was rich and delicious. I can't wait to go back to try the other flavors!

The place is pretty small and cozy, quite cute. I don't even usually like vanilla ice cream but their bourbon vanilla is SO flavorful but also not too overpowering. I SO SO recommend getting it in a waffle cone cause that waffle was so crispy and also kinda chewy. Just overall a delight! In general all the gelatos were great, it was hard to pick a flavor. The staff were however so patient in letting our huge group try tons of flavors before we picked which was very nice :) I didn't get the waffles but some of my friends that tried them said that they were some of the best waffles they've ever had. Recommend getting a scoop of ice cream on the side to eat the waffle with!
