I absolutely live this place! The owner is very friendly with very nice employees. Steak Burritos here are the bomb dot com. The assembly and presentation of all menu items is superior to anywhere in the area. Perfectly rolled burritos, everything is just done right.I will be coming back as often as I can. -Randy S.

First time here. Came here to grab some dinner. Saw this place on TikTok and I see they have giant quesadilla and gorditas. I didn't want to believe it but I was proven wrong. Brought my boyfriend here too. He was shock how big it is. We got a steak burrito, steakGorditas and chicken quesadilla. There are drink available...Jamaica, horchata and agua de lima. Street parking. There are dine in but limited. Gorgeous art work on the side on the restaurant.

I was in the neighborhood and wanted steak nachos... they did not disappoint. I would've rather had fresh jalapeños or the ones with the pickled carrots however these tasted like canned peppers. It kinda threw the balance of the nachos off but was still good! Small but satisfying spot, I would return.

Really nice customer service. I regularly order a torta at these little Mexican restaurants, and normally they come with chips and salsa or rice and beans. This restaurant served very nicely seasoned fries with my torta. Normally, I would prefer the chips and salsa, but the fries were so good I didn't mind. Also, the sauces and torta were very good as well.The decor was a more modern approach to a little Mexican restaurant. They have a beautiful mural (I posted a photo of it) on the outside wall and only stools inside, no formal tables.They are very open to social media support. Please post for them.

Do you want to know the trick for a takeout order that is able to be divided into two (2) meals? The answer is the giant sope, giant gordita, and giant quesadilla from "Vista Hermosa Express." It's the spin-off of "Vista Hermosa" on S. Ashland near the Back of The Yards Industrial Park. You can spend less than $10 but have a made-to-order meal, starting with the tortilla "hecho a mano." Then all other ingredients are either cooked on the grilled poppin' hot or prepared fresh. I had the great experience at the original VH location, yet the express location is way more convenient: one (1) block south of CTA California Pink Line station. The salsas verde and roja were also solid. I had the sope de cecina ($9.99, as of 05/25/2017). The size was similar to a personal pizza you would find at a pizzeria. Nevertheless, it was not greasy and loaded with diced tomatoes, lettuce, beans, cheese, and sour cream. I also drizzled a generous amount of salsas verde and roja on top. I didn't realize how hungry I was; I finished the entire thing! Oh no, I don't normally conduct myself this way. To be honest, I should have asked for a to-go box and eaten the rest of it for breakfast the next morning. People let me tell ya. Moderation is the key when it comes to the consumption of Mexican food. Hubby's gordita was like a "calzone." He too devoured it all. This VH express location has a few high stools that patrons can dine in. I believe most people phone in the orders and take them to-go. "Uber Eats" service is available as well.

GODDAMN!!! I was bummed when this place closed because of COVID and the riots, and totally thrilled to see them open sign back up in January 2021. We got a giant sope campechana, which is basically the most delicious Mexican pizza I've ever had, and the Vista Fries, which is every drunk/stoner munchie wet dream: fries, flaming hots, carne asada, nacho cheese, and jalapenos. HUGE portions, quick & friendly customer service, COVID-friendly prices, and Black Lives Matter signs out front. Great bang for your buck. Doesn't matter if you're old school Mexican from the neighborhood or a gentrifying hipster--give this gem of a spot your money and eat their food!

We were out in the city and decided to stop by here for a bite. It was well worth the detour. We tried the giant huarache, cecina quesadilla and tacos - delicious. The tortillas are handmade and so good. The huarache is huge crispy and enough for two. The customer service is friendly and inviting.

So far, and after many, many mexican restaurants this should be on my top 3, maybe even number one.Once you walk in and sit (wherever you want) the waitress will come and deliver hand made red salsa (spicy and warm as they make a new batch everyday) and homemade tortilla chips (they actually bake their tortillas and deep fry them (and even tho they make it here the chips are not greasy or oily at all) which makes the flavor incredible.All the food is to die for, the Chile Relleno is perfectly cooked with the egg batter and a great non spicy red sauce which brings out the flavor of the chile (also comes with beans, rice and salad).Then the Shrimp Ceviche, cooked on lime juice like a tartar and mixed with diced onion, cilantro, red tomatoe and Chile verde will make your mouth drool while looking at it and after the first bite you won't be able to stop.

I have to say, these al pastor tacos and Cecina tacos are absolutely delicious. The hand made tortillas, the good quality meat, and it's filled in to the taco to the top. 2 tacos I am smiling and full. The third one was I saved for later. Definitely check out this place. The owners welcomed me and made feel VIP. Feels good to when you are appreciated.

WOW! Saw this place on tiktok and thought I'd give it a go! Drove two hours and was NOT disappointed the huaraches are a 2 person meal and the service is pretty fast. Bilingual and friendly!!!
