Zorba's Pizza Express

I was skeptical to try this pizza shop because of the older Yelp reviews, but it ended up pleasantly surprising me. I thought the pizza was pretty good! Just a solid, regular, NY style pizza. I'm happy to have this in the north side!

The service was great! I ordered online, and called to confirm, they were nice and my food was ready in the estimated time provided. Then I picked up my order, first of all, I ordered a pepperoni pizza and a sausage pizza, I received 2 pepperoni pizzas. The pizza was dry and the taste wasn't good at all. The cheese was dry too, and they didn't even put much cheese, I could see the sauce more than pizza. The garlic knots were burnt and tasted like they were frozen. The chicken wings weren't good either, they also tasted like they were cooked from frozen. We just wanted some good authentic pizza and just wasted $40. I do not recommend this place and will not return.

I returned to Zorba's yesterday to be awed again. Instead, I was rather disappointed. I ordered the Greek Salad, as before. And a medium White Pizza. Also, throw in a Steak & Cheese Sub.When I got home I ate half of the Sub first. Just an average Steak & Cheese Sub. Nothing to write home about. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't enough for me to want a repeat.The Greek Salad, as before, was wonderful. That will be a staple every time I go to Zorba's.Now, about that pizza. While I raved about the Deluxe Pizza I had before, I cannot sing the praises to Zorba's White Pizza (Feta cheese, fresh tomatoes, and fresh garlic.) I have never seen so much wasted real estate on a pizza crust. It's more like I got a small pizza on a medium crust. The flavor was okay, but not stellar, and they really need to add much more of those ingredients.I'll be back for more Greek Salad.

Went to a work outing at Strangeways and had Zorbas delivered. Amazing pizza. Perfect crust to cheese and sauce ratio. I highly recommend the meat lovers pizza because it was LOADED with meat. I will definitely be going back.

Called in order for pickup and was told it would be ready in 25-30 minutes. Ask for it to be uncut to inhibit sogginess When I got there 40 minutes later due to traffic they had not made it yet because they were watching soccer. No apology. Sauce is too sweet. Cut when requested uncut. Uggh!

I've never eaten there - only done delivery. And as I type this I realize that the only thing I think I've ever ordered is the white pizza. It. Is. FAN-friggin-tastic!

I have had pick up and delivery from Zorba's. Their food is better than average but nothing jaw dropping. The delivery took a little over an hour to arrive. We have had: - Grilled Chicken Salad: The chicken was really good; perfectly cooked. The salad had a good variety of toppings.- Buffalo Chicken Sub- Not a bad sub. Has Bleu Cheese and Bacon on it. - Tortellini (meat)- Had a nice spice to it. Cooked well.Over all a solid place to eat.

We get pizza from here probably once a month (which is a lot for us). The pizza is always really good and it's nice how the place isn't crowded. We love to sit outside at the picnic tables and eat. Love the owner and the younger girl that works there behind the register.

The pizza is really good, though always underdone. You need to put it in the oven for about 10 minutes. Also, if you call before 5, the person answering the phone does not speak English and will yell at you. You will not understand what they are yelling at you about. You will rethink your life choices and wonder why there aren't more choices for good pizza delivery in the northside of Richmond.

I wanted a slice that's loose enough to fold over, pliable and a little greasy...you know....Philly style. This crust is tight and bland... tasteless. It does have a lot of topping on it. The closest I've come to Philly style is Costco snack bar.... delicious.I'll go back to ordering Zorba's yummy steak sandwiches.
