Best Chinese food restaurant in Hampton RoadsI'm from Brooklyn so I have high standards for good Chinese food. Best Chicken Lo Mein I ever had in my life.

Delicious Chinese food! Pricing was very reasonable and it was ready on time. We enjoyed the lo mein with tofu and the general tso tofu. Would definitely get it again!

I've eaten here more times than I can count, so I think it is time to write a review!!! :) FOOD: Where do I start? We've enjoyed their veggie and shrimp fried rice - both excellent. We've ordered their wonton soup, egg drop soup, and hot & sour soup - my least fav was their hot & sour, just a personal preference. Their egg rolls are also great and generous size! Their veggie chow mein is our favorite! All the food here tastes freshly prepared - we love it! SERVICE: We always order online on their website, super efficient -- they've never gotten my order wrong. ATMOSPHERE: Wouldn't be able to tell you haha We always order take-out. They are no BS, though. Go in, grab your stuff, and go!

It's been a while since I had some takeout so I was in the mood for some orange chicken. I ordered that along with the vegetable lo mein and crab rangoons. I ordered delivery through their website since it was much cheaper than ubereats or DoorDash. The food came much quicker than anticipated and it was hot and fresh. The flavors were great and the whole meal hit the spot. The fortune cookies were stale so that was a little disappointing, but overall I enjoyed everything and will order from here again!

Located in the heart of Ghent, Yummy Wok consistently dishes out great take out/delivery. Allow 45 minutes if you are doing delivery. Food arrives piping hot and flavorful with some decent spice. The vegetable Lo Mein did not skimp on the amount of vegetables which was appreciated. Orange chicken had a good kick to it! Enjoy it with confidence.

We first encountered Yummy Wok when my husband and I visited Norfolk in the process of purchasing our first home. A random person highly recommended it as it was one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in the Hampton Roads area- THEY WERE CORRECT! Everything and I mean everything we have ever ordered has been delicious on point and not too saucy. Extremely fresh ingredients which yield the best flavor. If you really are I to authentic Chinese food, feel comfortable to ask them for it as they are more than happy to accommodate. Been living here 6 years and this beats out many places in Virginia Beach by a landslide.

Great food. That said, I ordered the Happy Family and was quite disappointed to find no lobster but a bunch of imitation crab. Wrong on so many levels.

It's not much to look at, but they make great food!Their pork fried rice stands out above your typical Chinese takeout spots. It's also a full family enterprise with the kids helping out on the register and taking orders some evenings.

Just kinda ...ok. Great texture in the lo mein. Sesame tofu was bland. "Garlic sauce" is just minced garlic, no sauce to it. Steamed veggie dumplings are just mushrooms and maybe cabbage I think. Also kinda bland. Otherwise it's just...ok. No fireworks.

Good basic Chinese food. Not overly greasy. Very consistent. What you want when you don't want to cook.
