Yummy Goodness has catered several work events for me and a few peers and I've been blown away every time - by the pricing, service and food taste and quality. Lori and Tania have been incredibly helpful and so pleasant to work with. Most recently, I hosted a gathering for 20+ employees and selected YG's heavy hors d'oeuvres option. A gentleman arrived right on time and set up everything as requested. Bonus - we can't use open sterno and YG brought a flameless option for hot foods. Hours later, it was still piping hot!The buffet included ham biscuits with a sweet jam on the most flavorful cheddar herb biscuits I've tasted! Also served were meatballs with mozzarella and marinara, chickpea cakes with pesto, spinach dip with crostini and pita bread, brie en croute with dried fruits, almonds and crackers and a Mexican cookie dessert tray with chocolate dip. Everything was beautifully displayed and so delicious! We had plenty of leftovers as well, which will be meals for days.I look forward to using Yummy Goodness for future events.

We have used Yummy goodness catering numerous times over the years. We started using them when they were a brand new business. Our first experience with them was ordering sides for our Thanksgiving dinner. My mother had been recently diagnosed with breast cancer and had a lot of diet restrictions. Lori and Kelly made adaptations to their sides to meet her strict dietary needs. Fast forward several years later, we had them cater our oldest son's graduation party. They did an outstanding job. The food was delicious, presented beautifully and the staff was friendly and professional from set up to break down. All of us moved out of the area for a period of time, then nine years later that same son moved back to the Tidewater area and got married in 2023 and once again we called Yummy Goodness to cater this special event. They did an outstanding job. The food was amazing and the staff was friendly and professional. It was very special to have them as part of his high school graduation and then his wedding day!

Here I will try.The story is tragic and the bright light was Yummy Goodness Catering Company. Our loved one, a nurse, died from Covid - 19, leaving all of her loved ones stunned and reeling. I was looking for ideas for a food tray to send to the house and Chef Kelly saw my post on social media. The generosity and kindness which followed via her offer to donate to the family, for a funeral on Memorial Day, no less, and with only four days in advance, left us speechless with more tears of relief and shock - this time in the best way possible.With integrity and dedication to support for the community like this, how could the business operations be any less than stellar? Collaboration and delivery was thorough and concise. Because of the virus issues, we set up the clearly labeled food ourselves and easily. And the food! What voodoo is this that pasta is perfectly prepared and still hot on delivery?!? Three different and distinct sauces with a side of freshly shredded parmesan! Rolls of perfect size and delicious! An antipasto tray of artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, roasted garlic, different meats and cheeses with an olive medley in the center and an accompanying array of crostini and crackers! Perfectly prepared roasted vegetables to accompany the pasta! A mini dessert tray that added a final touch of sweetness like a cherry on top of your favorite sundae. The true voodoo - on this I cannot embellish enough - was the tossed salad (with two different dressings on the side) that was still fresh in its original container three days after arrival! Honestly, how many of you order a big salad for takeout at home and can't finish it all, only to find it has wilted and browned the next day? Not in this case! Chef Kelly and her prep team are simply masters of their craft.In summary:- your money will be well spent; - you will be treated as if only you and your occasion exist in this world from first contact to clean up;- food preparation and setup will be impeccable;- you will marvel at the quality and portion of the food;- you will not have a single regret!Yummy Goodness Catering Company - remember them, use them, and you will love them. I will personally never recommend anyone else.

My department recently one of our all-day professional training catered by Yummy Goodness. Typically, we get the same ol' sandwich boxes that contain a choice of ham & cheese sandwich, Italian combo, Turkey, Chicken Salad sandwich that comes in a box with chips and a cookie, so none of us were thrilled when we were mindlessly picking up our box of choice.That day I got lucky! I picked out a chicken salad sandwich and it was one of the best ones I've ever had! Now I make my own chicken salad and that's pretty hard to compete with, so I'm a tough critic. This chicken salad included mayonnaise (not too much, just enough), celery, cranberries and almonds on a multigrain roll. It was delicious! In fact, I saved part of it to take home for my wife to sample to see if we could duplicate the recipe!I hope my organization goes with this catering company again for future events. It was one of the best box lunches I've had in a very long time!I highly recommend having them cater your next event!

There are not even words that can describe how amazing Yummy Goodness Catering is! They certainly live up to their name. They catered our wedding last weekend and everything was delicious as well as beautiful. The whole process from beginning to end was stress free and fun. Lori and Kelly and all of their staff are professional, kind, and absolutely amazing I can't say thank you enough.

I can't say enough great things about Yummy Goodness. Their food is fresh and flavorful, their menus are always a hit with a wide range of demographics, their pricing is reasonable and their staff is amazing! The owners are willing to work with you whatever your price point may be and provide great tasting, fresh and locally sourced food.

Just wow!! Great service, wonderful food, priced right! Yummy Goodness catered our bereavement reception with little notice and great care. Guests were delighted and so were we!

I finally stopped by the Blocker Y location and the menu items looks so good that I had to try it. OMG! The freshly made chicken salad almost made my head explode! There was another guy who was arriving at the Y, saw my expression, then ordered one! I'm coming back, no doubt!!

My husband hired Yummy Goodness to cater my 55th birthday celebration at a house we rented at Sandbridge Beach. We arrived at the beach house to an oven that was not working. We notified Yummy Goodness the very same day. The celebration dinner was three days after we arrived. The Yummy Goodness staff reassured us that everything would be ok. Everything was EXCELLENT!!! I could not have asked for better food or service. They were professional and friendly and the food and sangria was enjoyed by all. I will definitely use Yummy Goodness when we vacation in Virginia again.Loni H.

Our event was a huge success! If you're looking for a caterer, I can highly recommend Yummy Goodness Catering Co! Not only was their food absolutely delicious ,wonderfully consistent and ample amounts on each plate, the staff was great to work with especially under pressure. There was a bit of chaos in the beginning of our evening with several unexpected guest showing up and yummy worked with us so well under what could have been tense conditions. Kelly and Lori are fantastic. Kelly called this morning to ask to share my thoughts and wanted to make sure we were pleased. Truly an excellent experience! I will most certainly hire them again.
