The lemon blueberry cake is amazing!! Also ordered cookies for my clients this year and everyone raved about them! My family loves the chocolate peanut butter cupcakes and carrot cake. Staff is always friendly and the store is super cute!

This place satisfies all your sweet cravings. The amount of cakes, bars, cookies, pies, and savory breads that are offered here will bring joy to your taste buds, and belly!! In moderation of course ;) It is literally a cornucopia of thanksgiving desserts. The hubs and I are not in Smithfield often, as it's close to an hour drive from where we are. We found this place when visiting an annual fall vintage antique market where they had a booth.Yes..... I had to control my eyes and stomach. Eating with your eyes is a thing! My better half decided on the lemon blueberry loaf, and I on the hummingbird slice of cake. It's a banana pecan cake with cream cheese frosting. Soo the result was...... it was both slightly dry not as moist. The blueberries in the lemon loaf all sank to the bottom. As for the loaf it was mid soft to hard to swallow. The lemon frosting on top was very good. The hummingbird slice had a nice amount of pecans with the taste of banana, but I also experienced the cake to be dry, even with the recommendation of eating it at room temperature. It was refrigerated, so cold air tends to draw out moisture and dehydrate the cake. They have display cakes, so you do have to ask them for slices, which they will retrieve from the fridge. Overall, it was still good and we would be back to try their cookies and bars! I believe they have some savory focaccia!!!!

First time stopping in and won't be my last! Very friendly service and a great set-up. The cake slices and a few other foodies you can grab and go which is nice. Then you can take it up the counter to be cashed out. There is no place to eat inside. Now food wise they have so many amazing items! From sweets like cakes, cookies, cupcakes, pastries and so much more to savory items like bread and spreads and even more. My husband and I grabbed a slice of the hummingbird cake and it was such a treat! Great flavor! Can't wait to try more of their items because I am side if it is like the cake they will be good!

Never skip a chance to go toYumaries . Their molasses cookies and donuts are home made. You feel like you just walked into grandmas kitchen. Cake boss should take lessons from them! Duff? Ace of cakes can touch these guys! They are the GOAT!

So - we stopped in here on our last downtown stroll through Smithfield. They have all kinds of random high-end bakery items. I was hoping there'd be breakfast or something, but it's more of a dessert kind of place. My kids wanted to try the frosted sugar cookies because they are ADDICTED to good sugar cookies with fancy decorations. We snagged a bag of the tulip cookies and gave them a spin at home. They were very good - just the right setting for the icing, and a nice vanilla flavor. A little crunchier than perhaps I'd like, but otherwise good stuff. We'll probably stop by again sometime.

Yummaries is very good and is a small charming bakery right in the heart of old Smithfield on Main St. I've been in several more times since they first opened their doors about a year ago. I usually stop to browse whenever I'm in town and see what kinds of seasonal goodies they have inside. If it's a Saturday mid-morning and the farmer's market is going this shop is usually bustling and busy with friendly staff who greet you and are ready to assist you with your purchase or selections. As mentioned in my initial review - this is an open concept store where the bakery can clearly be seen from inside and about 1/3 is the retail space with the rest of the space reserved for the bakery and kitchen staff. They have a large display case with muffins and cookies and goodies as well as many full-sized cakes they sell pieces by the slice from (usually around 5-8 flavors at any time) and they have their delicious bread loaves for sale in here that I originally had at the farmer's market, so delicious.They have lavender cookies, chocolate chip cookies and tons of other items as well as a few tables and chairs, some bottled drinks, and some savories in a small cooler like pimento cheese and some sweet potato biscuits. I've tried a few slices of cake and brought home some cookies and muffins for my husband in addition to the loaves of their bread I like to bring home and snack on for a week or so.

The people who work at Yummaries are expert bakers, and their talents are evident in the moist cakes, delicious pies and cookies. Everything I've purchased from this bakery has been top-notch. I also appreciate that they sell cake and pie by the slice, making it easy to please multiple palates without having to purchase multiple whole cakes or pies. I can't recommend this bakery highly enough.

It is my belief that Yummaries has the best sugar cookies ever. What makes it even better is their awesome service and huge selection of goodies. Try the focaccia bread, you won't regret it. They are so willing to try to accommodate whatever it is you need. (In my case making an order for first graders two days before an Easter party.) Love this place!!

Delicious key lime pie. The cakes looked amazing. Prices are so reasonable! Definitely recommend.
