Yuk Yuk & Joe's

Best pizza in the county, not overpriced and not a bunch of ridiculous names for pizzas. Cheesesteak subs are amazing and the fountain sodas are always great. Place has pool tables, very cozy off the highway, more of local spot. Service is always fantastic and friendly.

Been wanting to go here for years. We go on a camping trip every year to Cape Charles. Finally made it to Yuk Yuk and Joes. It's definitely a local spot and dive bar. We had a few beers and ordered shrimp and fries. The food is okay but you go here to talk to the locals. We had a nice conversation with one and I can't remember her name. If you are looking for something non- touristy, come here.

we stopped here for lunch. the place has 2 pool tables and a few dinning tables. not very busy, but customers seems to be regular. i felt like eating seafood, so ordered steamed combo. unfortunately, it is bad, shrimp is small, not as stated on the menu and they simply dumped bunch of heavy spjces on the food. clam become very salty. waitress also forget to bring me salad until i asked. the salad and main dish came out at the same time.

It's the Eastern Shore where the pace is slower and the company is something to treasure. We have always been treated well by staff and patrons alike.Tonight we saluted a WW II veteran, got other local reviews from another patron, and had great service from Kasey at the bar. But Walt... Walt blew my mind with his honey barbecue chicken sandwich! I took a bite before we took it to go... and then ate half of it immediately while still paying the check. Delicious sandwich. Embarrassingly delicious, some might say as they watched me drip it down my hands while paying.Thanks, Yuk, for another good night.

Visiting from Los Angeles and this place was such a breath of fresh air!! When my family came in on a Thursday night it was packed, very lively and great ambiance. The had outstanding service and better food. The wings were sooo bomb, im already back in LA missing the wings!

This bar/restaurant is a friendly place to meet and grab something to eat and not having to break the bank. I'd consider it a dive bar with outdated fixtures, stained ceiling panels, and uneven floors. All that and good food that comes out hot and friendly efficient service. I ordered a small caesar salad with chicken for $7.99 that was very good. I tried the onion rings; equally as good. And if you go on Thursday they have wing specials. Also yummy. Beer selection was poor but other than that there's a full bar. I'm sure there is a story behind their name but we'll have to ask the next time we're in.

When visiting Eastville a week or so ago, this was surprisingly the highlight of my trip. The only restaurant IN town technically, the bartender described it as a local mix between Cheers from "Cheers" and the bar from "Shameless." I haven't seen either show enough, but I can understand the references, I everybody seemed to know everybody. SUPER friendly. I, a tourist I guess, talked with a few of the locals who were friendly with each other. One told me to get their pizza which she describes as "the best pizza in Northampton County" and, although I don't know Northampton County well, I'll agree! The wall is filled with framed pictures of their regulars past and present. The price was great, and it felt like a cozy atmospehre. If possible, I'd say 4 1/2 stars just taking 1/2 a star off for mild upkeep and such but, at the same time, it's a hole in the wall bar in the middle of nowhere, so I'm not expecting greatness. I'll come back to Eastville again in the future to get a better feel of the town and, when I do, I'm looking forward to coming here again! (Most trips, I look forward to trying a different restaurant "next time" but, even though there isn't a different restaurant, I must come back).

First off, THE waitress was inundated with a stout lunch clientele but masterfully handled the all. Maintained her cool the whole time. She just moved faster! Pleasant to be sure and patient! The eatery is small, unpretentious, and a limited but adequate variety. Sandwiches, burgers, salads, and specials of the day. I had clam fritters. I expected the consistency of crab cakes and was delighted to find them firm and tasty. Would've made a good sandwich but I opted for "on a plate." All was quite tasty including the onion rings. I had collards and stewed tomatoes for sides. Now I'v eaten stewed tomatoes all my life. BAM! I wasn't ready for that! Tastiest I've ever had. It will ruin the surprise if I tell you more! Shock! So glad I tried them! My wife rolled her eyes and even gagged a bit when I chose them. Stewed tomatoes aren't for everyone. But THESE are! Collards were nicely done in the traditional fashion; tasty. My wife said her chicken tenders and fries were good too. So, if you are traveling down US 13 near Cape Charles, and need to get in, out and back on the highway, give Yuk Yuk and Joe's a try! Portions are generous too!

We had four different people recommend this place. We decided to try it, we were not disappointed. The food was excellent salad was fresh. We got six dozen clams. They were some of the best that I've ever had. The shrimp were cooked right and fresh they were not all soggyand pasty like shrimp that are done or overcooked. Everybody was friendly bartender was great. Their homemade onion rings were awesome. They're dipping sauce will clean out your sinuses with the horseradish. The place was clean. We will definitely make that regular stop.

Found Yuk Yuk & Joe's while making a pit stop on a road trip. We didn't have any expectations thinking it was "just a roadside bar" but truly Yuk Yuk's staff and local customers made it feel like we were right at home. Maybe because not only is it a local bar but the owner has Philadelphia roots. The burgers and Philly cheesesteaks were great! This is coming from a group of that calls Philly home! They even use Amorosa rolls!! We also ordered cheese fries (a regular reminded us to ask for shredded cheese and jalapeños) and potato skins. Everything was fantastic and was clearly made hot and fresh. We will certainly come back on the way home for a quick stop. Thank you to all the great staff and regulars at Yuk Yuk's.
