Yarn and More is an absolutely FANTASTIC store for everyone who loves to knit and crochet! The people working there are incredibly sweet and welcoming as soon as you come in and you're greeted to a bunch of lovely looking and smelling soaps.There are many aisles of yarns in various weights, materials, and prices to fit the budget of anyone. I saw some nice yarn for $40+ a skein as well as small packages of yarn that were still nice and soft for only $3. There's plenty of hooks and needles for sale, amigurumi (kits AND just parts, like the eyes and stuffing), patterns, buttons, thread, even kits for knitting socks.I went here twice, the first time to get a skein of yarn to make a shawl and then also to get a button and an impulsive mini-skein and then the next day I was back because I ran out of the first skein while making the shawl and realized I needed a 2nd one, where I ended up impulse buying another mini-skein and a button because the prices and quality and overall charm were just too good.I was very excited to hear they had a website and now that I'm back home in Philly will certainly be ordering from in the future!

Nancy was interesting and helpful. The selection of yarns is fabulous especially the locally dyed and spun yarns. The costs are reasonable and fair.

Beautiful NC yarns and friendly staff. I found a yarn colored "Outer Banks" in a variegated blue, green, yellow, browns, and orange that I'm using to make a souvenir of my trip! The lady serving me was so helpful and kind.

Down on summer vacation with family who live in Nags Head and had to stop in to peruse. Lovely selection especially since there isn't a large outlet for yarn in the area (ie - Joann's). Very friendly staff. Great place to get almost all your yarn needs and kicks.

Deanna, the shop owner is there seven days a week! She has owned the shop for several years and has a great variety of yarn! And patterns!!I went in wanting a project to do while on vacation and Deanna helped me. She has resources galore.. some for free! She has a yarn dyed using the beach flowers! I ended up purchasing a kit for a shawl/scarf that included directions. She answered ALL of my questions(many!)! She holds classes in the store and is a wealth of information!!Stop in! You'll be glad you did!!

I love this place . So many beautiful choices of thread for your next knitting project. The owner is a real Purl . She helped me start my knitting project . I choose fingerless gloves. I needed a refresher as it had been a while since I knitted .Very patient she was as I had to go back the next day to get her to continue to help me with my project. I hope to complete my knitting project soon. You can also order from her as she ships everywhere.

Small store, but well organized. They have a decent selection of yarns, though minimal stock of any one thing. They do have their own malabrigo color way, which is pretty cool. Staff is friendly, they have a rewards program, and staff is consistently wearing proper masks. Overall, I will stop in to this store again when I'm in the area.

This yarn store has a wide variety of beautiful yarns. Perfect I'd you're visiting OBX, it's right on the way in.

Looking for cross-stitch graphs? You will find OBX historical sites at Yarn and More. Bonus you will find a beautiful graph of Edenton's screw pile lighthouse. The shopkeeper is friendly and the store is stocked with DMC floss, patterns and yarn. Lots and lots of yarn.

Great selection of beautiful yarn! Among other things, Yarn and More has a custom yarn dyed just for them that reflects the color pallet of the OBX. Just stunning! The owner is very knowledgable and accommodating. I live in Newport News and will make the drive back just for this shop.
