Woody's Serious Food

Two words... smash burgers! This place has amazing burgers. The staff is young but really nice. The place has a great vibe. Definitely worth the trip!

Every time we come to chincoteague, woody's is a must stop! This year we came on a Thursday at lunch and it was pretty empty. The food was good but the service was questionable. Returning on a weekend it was a bit busier and more accommodating! But still always a great spot for bbq. The have several outdoor tables. The music is pretty loud and it was a bit windy so wasn't ideal for eating there. There is also no bathroom as far as I'm aware.

Terrible and overpriced. Ordered single smash burger, 1/2 rack rib platter, pulled pork platter...4 non alcohol bevs...$80. The meats were 80% fat served at room temp. Everything was done cheap...from the meats...to the baked beans...to the tiny sides of BBQ sauce...junk quality. This place is a tourist trap. Save your money and walk across parking lot to the Mexican food truck. Don't get fooled/ robbed like we did.

Ordered pork bbq with sauce and coleslaw. Nothing exceptional about it. It's a lot of food. Did not finish it all.

Eh. More Bun than burger and the sweet potato fries needed a few more min in the fryer as they were mushy

Our family took a trip to the beach and we spotted a bbq truck and decided to return the next day for some lunch as we arrive it's no line it's still early 11-12pm ish. They had a moon bounce so the kids loved jumping in it but we as a group decided to get a family meal it included chicken, bbq ribs, apple sauce, fries, Cole slaw and baked beans. We also got the kids bucket meal as well. We found a table and decided we would sit there, why the second we sat our food the table got swarmed with big flies that prick/sting you I was so distressed I could not eat at all! We had to pack up and leave to our hotels picnic area less flies ofc. The kids bucket had included Mac and cheese and chicken nuggets the boys loved it. The fries were greasy and soggy, now the food was very mid I'm from Maryland closer to dc like 25 mins but I think the food needs some work. And pls ease don't eat outside if you want to eat with flies.

Meh. Mediocre at best, and WAY too expensive. $12.99 for a tiny smash burger, and another $4 for fries. The hand-cut fries are the main reason we came here, but they're served in a foil container with a lid on them, so they're soggy. Wouldn't eat here again.

We paid about $75 for a family of three and we didn't even order drinks. First order was a half rack of ribs with very small servings of Cole slaw (didn't like the taste), beans, & Mac n cheese; second order was 6 chicken wings (described as huge but were normal size wings/drumettes); and last order was a bbq sandwich with soggy fries. The red sauce was nothing special, not spicy at all. This is a food truck and we expected either lower prices or larger servings. It gave us a negative impression of Chincoteague food on our first night here. We ended up cooking our own meals at the rental home for the rest of the week

Food was great. Nice stop before heading or leaving the beach. Everything we had was worth the wait.

This place is so insanely mid, I rate a solid 2/10 like zero seasoning at all on the chicken it's like they boiled it and then slapped some bbq sauce on it and called it a day, if you are a person of culture and a person who appreciates flavor this is not the place for you. My boyfriend got a burger and he said that was not seasoned at all either. The prices are absolutely insane too. The only positive I give is the frys tasted fresh but no seasoning on them either‍.
