Woodstock Park

Great spot to get outdoors. Fly solo or gather in small or large groups. Church youth outing went off great here. Tennis courts, playground for kiddos -- young and old -- and a skatepark for all shredders. Covered picnic areas next to charcoal grills helped feed and host the hungry masses. Plenty of parking nearby.

Ok park.The city needs to do more to stop the stupid dirt bikes driving through the kids park area.We sat by a lady who called the City about it, they said they were sending someone over and did what we expected. NOTHING. Another reason we are happy to have moved our of Virginia.

One of the best community parks in Virginia Beach. This park has a dog park, playground, group picnic gatherings, skate park and pickleball/tennis courts. It's especially beautiful during a sunny afternoon. Great for families and community gatherings.

The remodel of this park is awesome!! The skate park seems to be the biggest attraction. We saw all ages out there on bikes,roller skates, scooters, and skateboards. They have a dog park in the front. They also have tennis courts. The new picnic areas are very nice and shady. The bathrooms look good and they have a water bottle filling station near bathroom. The kids area looks like a lot of fun.

This was mine and my family's first time here and I'm not sure if it's a new park or they just renovated the park but it was really nice. They had a skate park right by the kids park and it was really nice. Saw all ages of kids skating and using bikes. The park has a lot of tables for picnic or parties, they have a pretty big restrooms and a walking trail behind the tables. Witch I thought was really nice.They even have a dog park when you drive in and a nice open area to play soccer football kickball ect. I will say they do need a little more seating by the actual park I think I only saw two benches. Other then that it's an amazing park.

The park is newly renovated and it has a ton of features and activities for people of all ages to enjoy. The new park has been upgraded significantly and seems more alive with all the new people (espicaly the skaters) visiting it. Previously, the place was kinda dead with very few visitors. As you enter the park, there are 2 different fenced areas for dogs (I am assuming it's different for small and large dogs). Previously, there were 2 tennis courts. Now, there is 1 tennis court and 2 pickleball courts in the same area. There is an Earthcam camera next to the tennis courts. There is also restrooms along with water fountains. There are a couple of small picnic shelters. They also added 3 large picnic shelters, which can be rented through VB parks office. Next to the shelters is an upgraded children playground, which features tons of activities for kids to enjoy. It even has a cool swing set where an adult and a small kid can swing together in tandem. The main attraction of the park is definitely the new skating area, which features a lot of ramps, hills, rails that skaters of all skill sets can enjoy. The skating area was filled with lots of young skaters and this would be a great hangout spot for them. I am sure this upgraded park will attract more visitors and good reviews in the future.

Took my dog here, was a good group of dog, people were super nice & it was such a nice day!

I only went to the dog park area but it's great. What I could see from the park was well maintained.

Closure Notice: Beginning June 1, Woodstock Park will be closed for improvements . The skate plaza will be closed and the dog park will be temporarily relocated at Providence Park, 952 Reon Dr., Virginia Beach. *Estimated re-open is 2021. Please continue to check back for updates

This park is beautiful, well maintained And very family friendly. All of the grills are in excellent condition, and the park provides Ample parking for its visitors and there are various activities to engage in.This was my family's first time visiting this Park and we'll visit the park often from here On.
