A group of 16 neighbors went to Wine & Design this morning for a resin board class. Brandon led a fun class. He was patient with a great sense of humor, and we all created boards we can feel proud to use. They have a bar with wine, but at 10 am, we weren't quite ready for a glass of wine. I'll definitely return and bring some more friends.

Back in December 2022, Yelp Elites had an event held here where we did a Christmas painting of a marshmallow over a cup of cocoa. I had a blast along with everyone who attended. Over the weekend, a social group held a get-together at the same spot where the theme was Relax at the Beach. So, I decided to participate and bring Sophia with me so we could hang out with old friends and new ones. Let's see how the evening went for both of us.Coming into the building, you are surrounded with various paintings from different folks. You don't have to be a Picasso to do this kind of hobby at all. Staff are willing to help people and also guide them on how to paint step by step. And this was the case here. Along with our bunch who did the Relax by the Beach theme, we also had a small group who did waves. I didn't look at all their paintings, but from what I saw was pretty good. And our class did awesome as well. Some drew more than others. I drew a reflection of the sun while Sophia painted birds (hers isn't posted). And I even had a white rum punch drink while at my station. Very relaxed indeed :)Yet again, another wonderful visit. You can never go wrong with a great group of people having fun and going outside their comfort zone. We'll be back here soon :)

This is such a great place! I did a private party for a group of 11 and we all had an awesome time. I selected to do a resin sea glass pumpkin for our group and everyone had fun creating their own unique creation. Supplies were laid out for each person individually and you could change your colors for the pumpkin if you wanted. The instructor who was also the owner encouraged everyone to be creative but also helped with some basic design instruction. Every pumpkin was unique and turned out great! Setting up the event for our group was also very easy. The owner was very responsive and helpful with all my questions. He sent a specific link for our event that I was able to send to all who were invited. A very easy process. The place is clean and you can order drinks and food too. There was a woman there who helped to make the food and serve the drinks. This is a great place and would come back to try some of their other classes!

I've attended quite a few workshops here and have had a lot of fun each time. Brandon does an amazing job teaching the classes and getting personable with everyone. If you've been to more than 1 class, he's going to remember you and I feel like it's friendliness and hospitality like that you don't find in a lot of places. I also appreciate how there's various activities for all ages and interests too. From mommy and me paint sessions to mixology classes and everything in between, you'll never get bored here. Check out their website! Grab a friend! And take a class at Wine & Design!

The customer service from Brandon and his team was top notch. They accommodated my parents for a project when there was a misunderstanding about the logistics, then proceeded to deliver high end customer service when additional support was needed. Cannot say enough about this business and the professionalism of the team. Thank you!!!

Review is based off of winning a contest through Yelp via Instagram. I won two tickets to use in their splatter room. I was excited to try Wine and Design out. I love that it is veteran and black owned. Brandon and his staff were great. They were helpful and also let us just do our thing which was great. Once we were in the splatter room we went to town giggling away and splattering paint. The room is small. Perfect for 5 people. But, I was very content with just myself and my friend. We were able to choose 3 colors for our 16x20 canvas. I think the cost would have been $25 per person. Very reasonable! We loved it that we are considering hosting an event with WD for a moral boosting event with the staff I work with. Thank you Yelp and WD!

Brandon and the rest of his staff were great! I wasn't too sure going in, but Brandon is really funny and disarming and helped every step of the way. Even though I don't typically like painting it was really fun!

Fantastic time this morning at Wine and Design creating heart resin boards with 16 neighbors in my Williamsburg community. Brandon was our lead and made our time there a wonderful experience. He provided some guidance and let us figure out how we wanted to create our hearts. Brandon was extremely helpful in planning this event for us and provided many laughs during our time at Wine and Design. Many of the us will be back! I highly recommend Wine and Design if you are looking for a fun place to be creative!

I'd rate 0 stars if I could. I will NEVER recommend this place or Brandon Gist, the owner. He is SO unbelievably unprofessional. But let me explain why.At this point - the night of our class isn't even my main issue anymore - but let me say how it was a very disappointing experience for all 4 of us!Well, after a few weeks had gone by and I had been thinking about leaving a review (in the hopes that they would recognize the areas of opportunity to fix), I did. I posted it to their Facebook page- It wasn't mean, it wasn't hateful but it was short and sweet and to the point of how we were extremely disappointed.Well, DO NOT LEAVE A BAD REVIEW ON THEIR FCBK PAGE!!! Why you ask? Well it seems that Brandon himself will go onto private Facebook groups to slander you. The most profession retaliation of a "does not recommend" review, right?!? I legit have proof of him trying to post "anonymously" on a group called "Are We Dating The Same Girl?"I received a text about the post early in the morning and it didn't even make sense to me. It had two older pictures of me (what he could gather off of my private Fcbk page) and stated that I went on a trip with him and then nothing. Said where I worked and worked out (but it was incorrect). So I showed my boyfriend and he found the group and knew the admin. So we called, found out it was a Brandon Gist who posted it. Hmmm?? I didn't recognize the name. Looked him up on Facebook, still not ringing a bell (I couldn't see much). So the guy said he would do some more digging. My boyfriend came to me with more information and asked about paint nights. IMMEDIATELY I knew. I said "HOLY SH*T! IT'S BRANDON FROM WINE AND DESIGN!"I was shocked!! I couldn't believe a man who calls himself a professional and business owner would take a negative review about someone's experience (literally days before) and try to "dig up dirt" about them. I mean first off, good luck, but what in the actual heck! Why wouldn't he try to make it better? Why wouldn't he try to apologize and say "We are here to ensure you have a good time, and we are sorry about your experience. Let us make it better." BUT NOOO. He wants to try to be sneaky (like I don't have friends and we don't know people) and come at me!!Not only this but I found him on Facebook and tried to confront him about it. What did he do?! He made it so he was "unavailable to send messages" to on Facebook Messenger (after my message delivered) AND THEN blocked my profile. I was FURIOUS! I was annoyed and upset before, but now, I'm mad. Really mad!!I call my boyfriend's mom, my friend who went that night and my two best friends to tell them all what he had done. WE ALL went back onto their Facebook page to leave more reviews! Well, three of us we able to leave them and bump them from 5 stars to 4.1 stars. But it gets better. He didn't stop there. My boyfriend's mom sent the screenshot I sent her about my message to Brandon - calling him out on what he did - and she sent him a Facebook Message. It went through just like mine did but probably 30 minutes or so it changed at the bottom and read: "unavailable for messages" on her chat and he also blocked her account! Way to take accountability dude.My friend (who went with me) and another both messaged me saying they couldn't find where to leave a review. So I searched on Facebook for their business page. What do you know? THEY BLOCKED ME! I told my friends how to find the review area and guess what? HE TOOK DOWN THE REVIEW SECTION! Anddddd he blocked everyone who had made a bad review earlier in the day.Yall - I can't make this crap up. I've contacted the Director of the Franchise and will be speaking to her shortly. This is all so mind boggling. If you want a good paint night experience- Call Earlybirds in Poquoson, Va. The owners are amazing and the classes are helpful, fun and you get some good wine!Do better, Brandon. Do a lot better.

I came in with my daughters and my mother. I brought in my own food a d drinks not knowing the policy. We came last year for Father's Day with our own drinks and no one said anything. The man working there who was the "owner" told me no food and drinks. When I told him about Fathers Day he began to argue with me instead of being nice and trying to explain his policy. Then when we started he seemed very angry and took my painting and asked my mother if I was a perfectionist and proceeded to paint across my painting. I tried to order some drinks for all of us and he gave them to us but he was very irritated. He gave us minimal instructions and was on his phone most of the time. He didn't want to bother with us all because I brought food. Worst $250 I've ever spent. I'll never return.
