A hidden gem. This is the type of place where you walk in guests and leave as family. Plus, the seats are super comfy. Little puppy was there to run up and greet us (Stella) as the other mead tasting was being poured prior to ours.We started off with a tasting of the sweetest, most classic and delicious mead. The owners are classic "people, people" and love to hear you talk - basing your likes on samples until you find YOUR favorite for each person.Windchaser is unmatched by others with its incredible home charm and its incredible location 'next to' but not in the Williamsburg outlet area. Will be back! I can't wait to see what they create next.

Warm and hospitable. Their meads are delicious and both owners are passionate about what they do. Made for a great visit. The tastings are under $10 and will for sure have you wanting to take home a couple of bottles of their fantastic mead. Don't forget to say hi to their pup!

This meadery is amazing! From their customers service, to the delicious meads they offer, and their adorable dog, Stella. We can't wait to return and I'll be praying they somehow are able to ship to California someday! Thank you for an amazing experience!

I could never say enough good about this meadery! We actually met the owners at another establishment that we had stopped at and found out their meadery was just a few miles away from the Holiday Inn Club Vacations resort we were staying at. So the next day we had breakfast and made our way up there. It's in a strip mall style building, so don't pass it by. We were the only folks there at first, and that worked out in our favor! I think we tried somewhere around 20 samples by the time we were done. Joe & Melanie are fantastic hosts. And they sure have the mead making down! Their "imaginarium" bottles are awesome!! You will try some things you never thought would work and they just do! They will even do blends for you to taste. The blood orange mixed with their chocolate Noire is unbelievable. Be careful though, at 14% mead starts sneaking up on you quickly! If you love mead or don't even know what it is, you need to stop here. Is the widest variety of flavor profiles I have ever had at one meadery. You will find something you like!

There are many meads to choose from. I and my two friends shared two flights with 8 different flavors. Joe the mead maker was so friendly and helpful guiding us to mix certain flavors to come up with whole different flavor profiles. It was a wonderful experience tasting each of the meads while talking with Joe and his wife "Queen Bee". There wasn't a lot of marketing for this place and we actually stumbled upon it as it was in the same shopping center as the Flipping Flea to which we first went. But it was a treat and a highlight in our day. It's a pretty small venue with only a few tables at which to sit which made for a nice intimate atmosphere but I imagine it could get busy. I recommend visiting.

Worth the visit, was happy I stopped in. Was greeted by a very friendly couple who are the owners and the cutest little min pin pup. They have a very good selection of meades to taste. My absolute favorite was the jalapeño flavored one the "el fuego del dragon" and the "chocolate noir" came 2nd. I took a bottle each home. Prices are very reasonable. I was sad to hear they aren't being sold in stores yet so it gives me a definite reason to stop in again for another tasting. Thanks for the welcoming experience!

I LOVE THIS PLACE! I highly recommend visiting this little hidden gem in Williamsburg for a complimentary honey and/or mead tasting. The owners, Mel and Joe, are deeply passionate about mead (honey wine) and are very successful in experimenting with different flavors making them deliciously inventive! They are super friendly and knowledgeable about all of their products and will educate you on the mead making process in a very relaxed and fun atmosphere. By far my favorite meadery I have ever visited. Make sure you try one of my many favorites: The 2309 (blood orange).
