I chose this hotel for our family vacay to Williamsburg this year! Perfect for families small and large. The Buffett style breakfast is a crowd pleaser even though it's only open 7am-1030am daily. If you want peace and quiet go before 830am. It tends to get rather loud afterwards.Check in went smoothly when we arrived and Jaycurous (may be misspelling) his name smile was very pleasant and welcoming. We was in our rooms wishing 15 minutes. There is a complimentary shuttle that takes you to nearby shops, Water Country and Busch Gardens. The schedule is given after check in.We utilized the gym which was neat and clean! My baby girl loved the outside pool. I did too. It was very warm- seemed to never get cold. It has a colonial feel and is a bit outdated but still depicts the style.I was pleased with our stay and would stay again.

The lobby is beautiful. Front desk staff is friendly. Rooms appear dated but I can see where the theme is more of a colonial theme. The layout of this hotel is strange. Had to walk down two long hallways to get to the elevator. Rooms were clean. Beds are AWFUL. Had trouble sleeping. WiFi here is nonexistent and cell phone service is spotty at best. Breakfast is mediocre - processed breakfast sandwiches, cereal, processed waffles (that you can toast), breads, yogurt. No cream cheese for bagels. The only good things I'll say about breakfast is they have fresh cut fruit - melon and strawberries as well as gluten free items. Seating in the breakfast area can be difficult to come across, thankfully there's additional seating in the lobby and outside in the courtyard. During our stay our toilet stopped refilling and the card reader on our door died, however the front desk were able to assist us.

Really more like 2.5 stars. Very unnecessarily difficult check in process. We booked two rooms for two nights and two rooms for very elderly people for one night. They had to wait til after 5:00 for their rooms, so we put them in our room until then, but they really wanted to nap. But then they had to come downstairs to show their IDs and that required massive effort. Husband complained to manager who nicely brought bottles of root beer to them. Room OK, not great. Bathroom out of date. One of their toilets quit flushing. Old people felt unsafe in bathroom. Breakfast OK. No butter, only margarine. Gross. Coffee very weak. Wi-Fi was HORRIBLE. All in all I would be more tolerant of this if it weren't so expensive, as in $260 per night. New York prices! Definitely not worth that price.

We were told the rooms were completely renovated, but when we checked in, the entire hotel was TIRED! The carpets were frayed in the lobby, there was a roof leaking into a big black trash can on the first floor for our entire stay, peeling wallpaper-you name it. The beds were spring mattresses and were saggy and the bedding was tired and stained. The breakfast was a disorganized mess and we felt like we should've stayed in the Hampton Inn. I will never stay here again!

Really nice place to stay for the price. Everyone was so nice, especially Kameron at the front desk-- very kind and accommodating and informative. Very good first impression of the hotel when you have someone like him welcoming you.Breakfast was nice but wish they had had real butter.

There was what looked to be black mold all over above the shower. My car got dinged pretty bad in the parking lot, there are no cameras, had to double park so it didn't happen again.Someone kept trying to get in our room the first 2 nights, they were knocking and jiggling the door. We reported it to the front desk and gave a description of the person. There are no cameras in the hallway. There is no ATT service in the area, which isn't the fault the hotel, however, you should have Wi-Fi that is adequate so that we could use Wi-Fi calling. The connection kept dropping and was not even usable in the bedroom and I was using the WiFi address with the password that was provided by the front desk. When checking in, the room wasn't ready on time, so the front desk said they would call us, only to find out that we were on the open Wi-Fi that is really terrible and Wi-Fi calling wouldn't even work, so there was not way to know if our room was ready unless we kept checking. It was ready about 30 minutes after it should have been, which isn't terrible. The hotel staff were very pleasant and overall, the room seemed to be clean. This place needs major renovations, felt like I was staying at a budget hotel and getting ripped off on the cost.

I booked 3 nights for a little getaway with my friend who is terminally ill. The hallways in this building are ridiculously hot! There aren't microwaves in the rooms. The ice maker on our floor didn't work. Staff were practically standing over guests while they ate the "enhanced" continental breakfast. I don't know what was supposed to be enhanced about it! It was all prepackaged food to microwave or toast, even the waffles. THEN, the last day of our stay, they locked us out of our room by disabling the room keys! By the time we got new keys (after arguing with the desk staff), we were both literally DRIPPING with sweat! Oh, and by the way, I couldn't post a review on their site. You can only read their reviews, which I'm sure they only post the good ones that are left on Yelp, or they make them up!

Everyone was very pleasant. The beds were very comfy although they bedding was skimpy. The onsite restaurant is geared more to children but there is a little bar there, if you're so inclined. And the hostess was very nice. If you're not spatially gifted, initially orienting yourself may be a bit of a challenge but is basically a gridiron football configured property. The rooms were clean but everything is dated. For example, you don't have the option of using Netflix or Prime on the televisions. Also the decor is more mid 20th century and not for design purposes.

It took two hours to get checked in upon arrival, even though I arrived at 4pm (their stated check-in time). They stated they would call when my room was ready, but they did not. Staff stated that the wait was because they were "at capacity". AC in the room works, but not well. The AC in the hotel hallways/lobby is non-existent. Same with the conference center. Several people in the conference walked out for cold compresses and/or ice at various points over the three days I stayed. At one point, we opened the conference center exterior doors to let the 85 degree heat/humidity cool the room down. I wound up leaving early the final day of the conference because I could not stand the heat any longer, so I lost out on education that I paid for.WiFi does not work, which makes things difficult when you're on a work trip. Cell phone reception is also spotty & two phones on two different networks were often in SOS mode in the room. One morning I did not have any hot water. Upon discussion with other conference goers, it appears that this was the case for a lot of us. The bathrooms in the conference center were out of service on day one, so people were forced back to the hotel to use the restroom. There was one operable handicap restroom, but you can imagine the line for that with around 250 conference attendees. As someone who needed to use the handicap restroom vs. walking back to the hotel, this just one more frustrationHotel staff was pleasant & things were fairly clean. However, I would not personally recommend or visit this establishment again.

WiFi is nonexistent, my room was not cleaned, checked two different days. When I asked for clean sheets since my youngest had an accident, it took 2 hours to get them and they brought me toothbrushes instead of sheets. The ice machines didn't work. The washers & dryers were on the fritz. The vent in the bathroom didn't work & the tub did not plug so we could get baths. Also the elevators closed the doors super fast & we were constantly getting them closed on part of our party
