The most amazing and informative outdoor walking tour of colonial Williamsburg. Trish Thomas has got to be the most knowledgeable historian that walks the streets of Colonial Williamsburg. What will be the most memorable part of your tour is the drama that existed in the times peppered nicely with the history. The question comes first to lure you in, then the history and then the intriguing twist at the end to leave you prompts in your head to easily recall the history. Her husband, David, called us 15 minutes before the tour to make sure we were on our way and knew where to park. Trish was standing right where David said she would be. Just an amazing experience-class act.

""My people have perished for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge...". Allow this tour to enhance your knowledge. Our experience was one that I will cherish forever a lifetime. There are freedoms and liberties that are celebrated throughout all of the colonial era without much consideration for those enslaved, and as I learned of those living free as black and brown persons. So much to be gained, this tour is very informative. The presenter is well informed, an actual historian. I almost missed the opportunity- so glad I did this. Thank you for offering this it provided much needed balance to the colonial experience.

Trish was an incredible tour guide - super informative and very patient with all of my wife's questions (lol but also for real). She gave us interesting facts about the entire area - from people to places to the stories of the land. Very awesome and I'd recommend this to individuals, couples, families, groups etc.

After 6 years since my original walking tour, I took my wife on both the Colonial and Civil War walking tours in Williamsburg. We had Trish for both tours, whose knowledge of the local history and insights had only improved since my first visit. We really enjoyed both tours and might go again for her Christmas tour. We took the colonial tour at 10:00 am on a Monday morning to get my wife the "lay of the land" in Williamsburg. She enjoyed the historic information about many of the buildings on her your. Trish was able to ask questions we and the others in the tour had. Prior to visiting a local museum, I had no idea that Williamsburg was involved in the civil war. Trish explained the city's role in the Peninsula Campaign. She also told us stories that are apparently not very well known outside the local history community. Don't waste your time in any other tours in Williamsburg and just schedule one with Trish.
