Williamsburg Scooter Rental

I hope I picked the right company...With same day request the owner was able to meet within a couple of hours. The scooter was great. Comfortable and the adjustable speed was so great for covering ground between sites at Williamsburg. The cost was well worth it. And, his instructions for disassembly and assembly were terrific!

Dick, the owner, was absolutely a vacation saver. He replaced the batteries and made sure that I was good to roll. All at the drop of a phone call one afternoon. Very honest and open. Good southern manners. Hospitable. And best of all, KNOWS his business about scooters. Trouble shot why mine wasn't working and fixed it over night and got me back on the road by the afternoon. I cannot that him enough!

As a middle-aged woman with mobility and fatigue issues, I have to rent scooters when I travel (especially to theme parks), so I've dealt with my fair share of mobility scooter rental places across the country. Williamsburg Scooter Rental was one of the best I've encountered! Reserving a rental on their website was quick and easy, with incredibly competitive prices. Dick was communicative and kind, and even let us borrow a spare key because my friend had accidentally left her scooter key at home. The Pride GoGo that I rented performed great (it's a choice scooter, really). I avoided 2 of the 3 hills he warned me against at Busch Gardens, but did a spin through the entire park and still had a full battery when I left. Returning the scooter was easy- I'm used to having to wait but he was happy to pick it up from the lobby of the hotel while I was packing in my room, which was super convenient. The next time I visit Williamsburg, I'm absolutely renting from here again!

We loved our experience with Dave and Williamsburg Scooter Rentals. We had done Busch Gardens and were exhausted, I knew I couldn't do any more walking and we still hadn't seen Colonial Williamsburg. We called Williamsburg Scooters and Dave brought one right over to our hotel. We immediately went out to dinner at Chowdings Tavern, delicious BTW. Unfortunately it poured rain just as we were entering the tavern and the scooter got very wet. I drove it back to our hotel room and kept in in the room for the evening. The next day I was using it and it emitted a horrible high pitched sound. I called Dave and he brought a replacement scooter right out and met me in Colonial Williamsburg. I can't say enough about the service and about Dave who literally saved our vacation. I scooted all over Colonial Williamsburg and saw all that I wanted to see. I would not have been able to without the scooter! A big thanks to Dave and Williamsburg Scooter Rental for making our vacation a huge success!

A week with my mother was made much easier because of Williamsburg Scooter Rental. They brought the scooter right to where we were staying, it was easy to take apart and put in the trunk of mom's car, she felt safe and happy she could keep up and do more. When we were done we were able to leave it for them to retrieve right on the site where we were staying. Friendly, on time, and quick to respond. Can't ask much more from them .....other than teaching mom to not run over toes? :)

I recently bought a new Pride Scooter from Williamsburg Scooter Rental. The owner, Dick Bunting, was so very helpful, knowledgeable and honest. He even offered to lend me a scooter to try before I buy to make sure I liked it. When my scooter arrived, he personally brought it to my home and spent time showing me all of its features and how to properly use it. It is rare these days to find a business owner who is honest, personable, and caring. This company is awesome. They delivered scooter to me at a meet up in Colonial Williamsburg. Explained the best "walking speed" to stay with my walkers and also to conserve battery. The scooter was in great shape and comfortable. All I had to do with leave it in a pre designated area and call to let them know I was finished with it. Considering I could not find any scooters in Boston it was nice to see a company that can supply them in Williamsburg. In fact I saw many people using their scooters here and in Jamestown and Yorktown.
