This is a cute, unique store that has everything from dog toys to topiaries to home decor to...!!! It's deceiving on the outside as it doesn't look like a huge store but step inside and it's deep and has many many various themed rooms. Even the dog toy I got for my yorkie was nicely placed in a nice bag with light blue tissue paper. What a lovely touch. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive.

My, what a store.Everything is so chic, and not overly tchotchke! I love the taste of whoever is purveying the goods. Quality silk flowers, and big old fashioned ribbon and bows. Their tea towels were charming - my friend paired birds and bees!I picked up a gift for a consummate hostess I know- peony table decorations. They're flat paper illustrations. The store is much larger than it looks. There's lots of rooms and each had slightly different items. If I lived here, my house would be furnished with everything Wharf Hill.

I need to update my review to 5 stars because they are absolutely well deserved for the personalized customer service I received at Wharf Hill over the holidays from several of the employees . The store is beautiful and charming. It has a great mixture of old and new items inside with antique decor and furniture mixed with some food items, holiday stuff, lotions and candles, jewelry, stationary and other odds and ends. They update the decor seasonally while the owner is always adding new items and newly found antique treasures. The window dressings are all classy and neat - the ones for this past Christmas were nothing short of stunning and the inside had trees in nearly every room with themed decorations you could purchase yourself.I love Smithfield and I love antiques. I always poke my head instead this stop when I'm in town to see what's new and I'm never disappointed. I've found quite a few little treasures in here over the past few years. During the holidays this year I brought my mom to show her around since she'd never been and we found a white Christmas tree by the register covered with hand-blown glass icicles. They're elegant and understated and well-done. I knew I loved them and I have three Christmas trees in my home and the final one needed these. Initially I believe I bought 6-8 of them thinking I would use them on my tree around the front. But once I got home I realized two things: one was that the tree was much bigger than I thought and the second was that I wanted these everywhere. I called the store because I knew they had some left and asked for 10 more. I spoke to a really nice gal on the phone who took my information and said she'd hold them for me to pickup the following day. My husband had oral surgery so I ended up calling and asking for them to ship them for me since I wouldn't be able to get there for a few days. No problem - they arrived the very next day all bubble-wrapped with care and each individually wrapped for protection with a little handwritten note saying to enjoy my icicles on my tree. AGAIN I realized I needed more so I called and said I'd take however many were left which was like 12 at this point. I again paid over the phone and had them shipped. Again they arrived the very next day carefully wrapped with a little note joking around about how I was the queen of icicles and to enjoy them. Everyone is always friendly inside - and this experience was so excellent - from the phone service - to the fast shipping - the wrapping of the items with care and the little notes. I even got a text when there was an issue to make sure the sizes were what I needed when they discovered there were actually two sizes of the icicles but you couldn't tell with the naked eye showing them with measuring tape side by side so I could choose which I wanted or both. I was already a fan of this place - but that level of individual and over the top customer service is just more and more rare in today's world. I'm not surprised it came from a town as cute and personable as Smithfield - but I'm a hardcore fan now. Thanks so much! Can't wait to come visit again soon!

The least friendly of staff work here. Maybe that's not fair to say, but I was greeted by every other shop owner or worker when walking into all the other shops on Main St, and was completely ignored here. Not even a sideways glance. Maybe I lost my touch, I don't know. Anyway, my favorite thing about this shop is that they sell very nice sterling silver bracelets with thoughtful quotes engraved in them. They make great presents for Mom, Sister, or GF.

Love this place so much!!! It's one of my favorite shops! The staff is absolutely lovely, and so friendly and welcoming. The store sells beautiful antiques and collectibles. There are fine soaps, lotions, and high end home accent pieces. It has the most beautiful hand crafted children's toys. I love to just go in and browse around! Took a friend recently, and she fell in love with it as well. So quaint and lovely!

I find the coolest treasures in here! Much cheaper than buying decor from Pier 1... Plus they don't have the character the older items have... Nice to see they always have a wide variety of antiques.
