After some stellar guidance, I dove into crispy fried pickles and a burger that could only be described as a juicy, flavor-packed masterpiece. Trust me, these pickles are next level.But wait--this place isn't just about food. With arcade games and a pool table, it's a total vibe. Perfect for hanging out with friends and making memories. I can't wait for round two--more menu exploration and rooftop cocktails are definitely in my future. Don't miss this spot!

I have now eaten at Westside Burgers 7 times and feel ready to give them a review. My first experience was pretty bad and that's why I waited so long to be sure about this review. The first time I went they were newly opened and clearly having some issues. The staff was severely under trained, the soda drinks were served in small 8 oz. styrofoam coffee cups with long straws (a disaster in the making) and the burgers and fries came out separately. Our fries were all gone by the time our burger arrived. The server accidentally brushed the straw and my coke went everywhere and, worst of all, he was so horrified he just froze while my companion and I were grabbing phones and trying to get away from the table to avoid being soaked. However, the burger was very good and so were the fries. I waited a while to go back hoping they had worked out the kinks and they had. The staff is well trained and efficient, the burgers are well cooked and juicy, the fries are crispy and delicious and the taller plastic cups are much more stable. I was not a huge smash burger fan (they can be over cooked and dry) until Westside but I now love them. At least I love Westside's. I'm sure the fact that the hamburger meat is fresh (not frozen) makes a huge difference. These burgers are so juicy and flavorful I'm thinking they probably aren't that tasteless 80/20 fat ratio but I don't actually know. All I know is the flavor is always in the fat and these are loaded with tons of flavor. My favorite meal is a cheeseburger and over the years I have become annoyingly fussy and demanding. In my estimation there are only two really good cheeseburgers in Hampton Roads and Westside is one of those. I love that I live very close and can easily satisfy my Westside Burger Jones.

Great service! Ambiance on a Friday evening is super busy. Food was absolutely delicious and better than I expected. Definitely will be back!

Hotdog! We checked this place out during the fall festival. Service was fast and friendly and the food came out relatively quickly. It was a nice rustic vibe and very clean.

Our group of three had a great meal at Westside. I ordered the single and a side of mozzarella logs. The patty was the best part of the meal. It was seasoned well and the meat flavorful. The bun had been visibly toasted on the grill, which is nice and adds to the grill taste but the bun was cold. If my bun was warmed it's easily a 5 star burger. The tomato was fresh, albeit cut too thick for my personal preference. The cheese logs tasted great (quality cheese) but had absolutely no cheese pull. The surrounding area is nice and if it wasn't so hot we would have opted outside seating and played corn hole. I definitely recommend stopping by and trying a burger.

Burger was awesome Tasted great. Service was quick friendly and attentive. Inside was very clean all around. Everyone preparing food was wearing gloves. Fry portion could be a lot bigger for the price.

Westside had a cool atmosphere with various places to sit- indoor bar, general indoor, outdoor with fans and patio . The outside has games to enjoy. The burger Patties were well seasoned and high quality. They were steak burger style and very good! The toppings were crisp and fresh. Our waitress was very busy and hardworking, but attended to all of our needs. They even have a small shop inside with farmers market style goodies!

I enjoyed a footlong hot dog with coleslaw for lunch today. The food was hot and served quickly. The bun that the hotdog came on was delicious.

Burgers tasted very good. Well executed hand smashed patties. Patties were about 1/4# smashed thin. They cooked fast and filled the bun.Fries were frozen.Everything is a la Carte: $0.25 lettuce, $0.25 tomato, etc. So my Classic Double Burger with lettuce and tomato was $10.50.Think Five Guys with a better burger, and Hardee's fries.

We arrived at the Westside and were promptly seated. Three adults and an almost 3 year old. The waiter came over and took our order, I noted he did not write anything down. We received our drinks promptly and then we waited. And waited. About 45 minutes later the waiter came over, brought 2 orders of fries over. But all 3 adults ordered fries. We finally got his attention and he brought over the other order of fries. Someone that works there walked by my grandson and hit him in the face with a box, causing a scratch on his face. "Oops, sorry!" And they kept walking. 10 minutes minutes later our burgers came out, pretty small, my daughters burger was not what she ordered and the waiter was like "well it will be another 20 minutes for another one". My daughter said that is fine. My grandson's grilled cheese was also burned. It was a disappointment, we do not go out very often. The place is cute, but it needs some work on the service side.
