Welton's Fresh Seafood Market

I purchased scallops from here and they were so fresh and delicious! I'll definitely return for all my fresh seafood! The place is small and not a dine-in spot but the perfect place to get fresh seafood. Service was not the friendliest but will still return for the food!

Been going here for a long time but haven't been in quite a few years because it's a long drive. The prices are a little high but it's fresh and if that's what your looking for, this is the place. Very friendly owner. Got some great looking salmon!

Awesome service and fresh fish. Welton's is my go-to spot for fresh fish. The homemade mango salsa is excellent.

Dude, you sold us bad fish. At the time your refund policy wasn't posted anywhere beyond your Facebook page (you guys don't even have a website), you were rude to my 70 year old mother in law and, ultimately you customer service was a direct reflection of the contempt in your response to my review which took you 4 months to respond to. And, you deflect every other critical review of your buisness by attacking the patrons. The proof is in the pictures and the reviews. ‍ Just glad VB is a coastal city. Plenty of other better quality competitors in town whom I'm sure sell better quality fish and excercise superior customer service. Oh......and, as disgruntled customers I dont appreciate the slick comment made towards my wife.

I thought every beach town on the east coast has tons of places to sit and pick blue crabs. I was wrong lol. As a Marylander being at the beach a weekend picking crabs is always a priority. I usually vacation at Ocean City, MD where the options are plentiful. I really struggled in VA Beach to find what I was looking for. After a ton of research we found Welton's. Small seafood shack a few miles inland. Welton's has a ton of fresh or steamed seafood options for take out. We ordered two and a halfdozen blue crabs steamed and seasoned. Mix between size 1 and 2. The crabs weren't big by any means but they were heavy and packed with sweet meat. Love the spice Welton's uses to season their crabs. Had a nice bite to it. Welton's also has all the tools we needed, crackers, mallets, newspaper for the table ect... I would order again.

Beautiful!It's a fish market. They have the freshest fish I've ever seen, and I've been from Mexico to the Philippines. If I had the money, I'd cater for free in their parking lot just to watch people smile.I wanted soft shell crab, but someone else likes raw oysters. So a couple days ago I bought 2 dozen raw oysters here. These little baby's are like candy! The next day I couldn't hold back and decided to grill a few. Either way, these "Sunflower seeds of the sea" are definitely worth getting into.I really want to go back for their fresh fish and giant shrimp. The couple that work here are professionals. If you want a fresh and tasty seafood for your kitchen or grill, look no further.Places like this make me wanna cook all day.

Good people doing good food. I called with a special request on Wednesday and they had it there Saturday. Fresh and easy! Love it!

Shorts me on clams every time I go into this place. Guy is nice as can be, but sorry, that's just not cool.
