I have been here before never disappointed, food can be a little salty but everything is good... there chitlins are the best in town ... even time my mom come to town we stop bye

The chitterlings are good have not tried anything else. Call first because they don't always have them

This place has the best greens, chitterlings, potato salad, and other stuff, I'm sure. OMG! So delicious.

Food is okay. Nothing to run and try twice. Variety available but taste is lacking. Quantity is well.

I have came a few times but this most recent time is where the review is coming from! I always start my soul post talking about my soul food test. You all that follow me know, how i feel about place that call themselves soul food restaurants. This place did ok with the test, i have had better from them. The test consist of Fried wings mac and cheese and collards. SO the wings were cooked well, and they are seasoned. Yes, the meat has flavor. Everything was going GREAT until i go to the Mac. I had to take some points off .the Noodles were mega mushy, its was like i was eating mac cheese pudding. Which doesnt sound that bad, but when its suppose to be mac and cheese we might have a problem. But the collards were on point. Like i said i have been to this place before, and they normally hit. This time it was a 3 out of 5 from me!

I love this place ...I order dinner as takeout every week.Love the turkey wings but other dishes are good too!

I feel bamboozled, I called at 6 :11p.m. and was told my food will be ready in 20 minutes. . I was there until closing at 7 p.m. until my food was ready. That's not a problem though. , I knew they were frying my pork chops fresh and I had two pork chop dinners. I wanted pig feet but they didn't have any that day. The sad part was that all the sides were not good. The cabbage was bland. No meat in it for seasoning. I'm used to soul food cabbage cooked with bacon or smoked meat. I love homemade potato salad so I noticed there was a picture of what looks like homemade potato salad on Yelp... what I got was Walmart , store bought mustard potato salad. The mac and cheese was ok. Just not worth the drive and wait. The order came with two slices of bread. I thought it would have been cornbread but ok.

Service was good! All of the food lacked seasoning. The potato salad is store bought. The lady at the register was cutting up slices of Walmart pie to sell. It was a real disappointment.

The food is delicious. It's always hot. You've got to try the turkey wings, rice, and yams. It's excellent.

Just a small step above a hole in the wall but I am addicted to the smothered pork chops.
