Wally's Sweet Spot

We tried this place once before, but we went right when they were opening. We weren't thrilled that the soft serve did not have time to freeze yet so it was very soupy. We went later in the day this time and the texture was so much better.My kids swirl cone and strawberry nachos. I opted for the s'mores milkshake. I love that This is one of the few places that does swirled ice cream. The pretty swirl it makes while adding the flavor is just so nostalgic for me. Ice cream nachos were one of the most unique things we've tried in a while. I love the little dipping waffle cone pieces. It was delicious. I also loved the milkshake because the toasted marshmallow ice cream was really good. I had her add chocolate and graham crackers which was really good, but I would probably forego the chocolate next time because it slightly overpowered the really nice marshmallow ice cream. It would have been amazing too with just the graham cracker. The service wasn't bad, we were second in line and got our ice cream pretty quickly. Not much ambiance to speak of, you order at the takeout window (much like a similar chain ice cream place) and then they do have a handful of picnic tables around back, so that is cool when you don't want ice cream melting in your car.We will definitely be back, probably to split more of the cool nachos.

So sorry I don't have photos but the ice cream was tasty. This was my first visit to Wally's Sweet Spot and it didn't disappoint. I ordered a strawberry nut sundae and ate it all before I thought to take a picture. If you like soft serve give them a try.

Found this little gem a few years ago. It's located behind the Walgreens in Chester. Cute little shop. No eat in available but they have outside tables.The chocolate custard is amazing. It reminds me of back home where frozen custard stands were everywhere. Hard to find them here. Custard is creamier than ice cream.Service is average unless the owner serves you, then it's good.

Very good! Good service, ice cream and cheaper than Bruster's. My wife and I have been living in Chester 4 8 years and this is one of our favorite places to go.

This ice cream is the best around. The young ladies in the shop were friendly and helpful. The perfect place for a quick treat!

I stop bye Wally sweet spot for a little something sweet today. I didn't have to wait long to be served by a friendly staff member. I ordered a swirl soft serve cone mix with butter, pecan, and vanilla. They only have outdoor seating with patio space in the back for additional seating. I like to come whenever I am in the area, they are located behind the Walgreens and I highly recommend their service.

It was very good! We went on a recommendation from a friend. It was my first time having a chocolate dip. It was definitely messy, but delicious. Good parking! Staff was really friendly!

My sister and I went to Wally's Sweet Spot in Chester last night for milk shakes. All the lights were on, the open signs were flashing but no one was there. We walked around the building, and still there was no one. It struck us as a little peculiar, and we began to think something was wrong. I decided to knock on the window to see if I could hear anything inside, and to my surprise a woman flew around the corner, slung open the window and yelled "Do you mind". We were horrified! We sort of just stood there with our mouths open, not believing how she was acting. Once I got over the shock, I said to her "Here we are thinking the person working here was robbed and locked in a freezer or something, and you come out screaming at us like that? It's a little rude, don't you think?" She replied "Well you were banging on the glass! Do you want to order something or not?" I said, "Absolutely not, but I would like to speak to your manager". She aggressively stuck out her hand as if to shake my hand, and said "Hi, my name is VANNY, and I AM the manager." I couldn't believe it! I had never been treated so disrespectful in all my life and I let her know! If she needed to use the restroom, why wouldn't she just put a sign up that says, "be back in 15 minutes." I mean, we were genuinely worried about her wellbeing! I just feel like VANNY was unprofessional, disrespectful and downright RUDE. As a business owner myself, I wouldn't want someone like her representing my company! I will say that my family and I will never go back to Wally's Sweet Spot after this, and I do intend to let the owners of the business know about VANNY'S rude, disrespectful and unprofessional behavior in their establishment.

Their ice cream bowls and milkshakes are phenomenal. The servers there are very nice and hard working. I sometimes visit my Nana and Papa's house and the location is very convenient because it's only a couple minutes away from their house. I think it's fitting that the location is built like an old food shack and I like that it's known as a "Sweet Spot" in its name.

Milk shakes are really thin, they can't put more than 2 fruits in it or else they say it's too liquidy. The shakes are ok. I like mine thick to eat with a spoon so they are good with the brownies mixes in. The ice cream by itself is very soft , not a strong vanilla or chocolate flavor but it still hits that soft serve craving. The thing that keeps me away except for really bad cravings is the price. $7 (I wish I was exaggerating) for a cone is the most I've ever paid for soft serve. If they were more affordable I would stop a few times a week vs 3 times a year. I upped my order once I saw a CHOCOLATE waffle cone, def something new! For example- Small cake cones are $4 Sprinkles are $1 extra. Milkshakes are $7++
