Vy's Pies

I received a free pie coupon when my son entered a contest at the Va Beach farmers market. Until then I had never heard of this establishment and I am so sorry about that. The owner personally makes each and every pie. He says pie making is a science and when I eat the pies I believe him. I am from upstate ny where we eat Lemon meringue and I was told that lemon chess was better so I ordered one from Vy's Pies OMGoodness Gracious......everyone I let try the pie in NY loved it and wished I had brought another one.My son (who is 10) and I tried our very first pecan pie in November 2013 and fell in love with it. So he wanted to use his free coupon on a Pecan Praline pie from Vy's...it was his coupon I couldn't say no. I am sooooo glad he chose that pie because it tasted fresh and homemade. I now know that the pecan pie we "fell in love with" in November was an imposter....I will never ever order another pie from anywhere else! If you order from Vy's Pies and you find yourself saying "this is a little too expensive for a pie" take one bite and come back here to my review and tell me without lying in front of God and our country that you truly hate the piece you just ate.....I know you won't be able to.......every pie is just that good. Scouts honor!!
