I have owned 4 Sea Doos. All purchased from Virginia Beach Watercraft.Have never had an issue with any. I do all the oil changes and winterizations. I take it to Virginia Beach Watercraft for tune-ups and to make sure the seals are in good shaped every 2-3 years. I call Barry, Shea or Don whenever I have a question in between. I also own a Chaparral boat. I wish my boat dealer was as accommodating as Virginia Beach Watercraft. Bottom-line: If you want to own a jet ski, buy it here. If you already own one, have it serviced here.

Asked for a diag only. As to why the ski shut off while driving and then continued going slow. Called two days later to tell me it's done and I owe 350. . .after only asking for a diag. Because I don't have a scanner and do the work myself because no one is trustworthy around here. I asked what they did and what was wrong. They told me the wear ring and a fuse. . . I asked what fuse and why? said they didn't know and he'll ask the tech next time he sees him.Fuses don't just blow without a reason. Wear ring I understand but could have done myself hence why I asked for a diag only.Tell me I'm good. And to pick up Saturday. Friday at 330 they tell me in the middle of work they're closed on Saturday. So I call and pay and ask for it to be outside since I now have to pick up after hours. Whatever. No biggy. Saturday morning comes i test it at the house and they never put the key in it. So I grab the not fun learner key and it starts up. Runs a little and I'm assuming we're good. Go to the lake. Go about 50 yards and it dies. Doesn't start without giving it a shit ton of gas and barely goes for 10 ft and dies again. Swam back, grabbed trailer. Went home. Wrote this long ass bullshit review. Seadoo certified my ass.

I have dealt with Barry at Virginia Beach Watercraft since the 80's! I have always been treated with respect and my many machines have been well taken care of. Barry always deals fair and his bill estimates are always on point. I have purchased at least 6 JetSkis from him and I hold him in high regard. I know techs come and go, but, Barry has always remained constant and reliable as the final word in his shop. Trae has been in the shop for years now and is trustworthy as well.

I waited my whole life to fulfill a childhood dream of owning a personal watercraft. I did the research for over a year & decided on a Yamaha Waverunner VX Cruiser HO. I negotiated with a couple dealers, but felt I was overpaying for the trailer. While visiting the mid Atlantic boat show in Virginia Beach I stopped by VBWC booth looking for a trailer.After meeting Barry & Don and discussing the trailer, I realized these are the kind of people I'd like to have by my side on this new adventure. I wanted a waverunner, but partnering with them became more important than the brand of watercraft I would ride. I purchased a GTI SE 130 Sea Doo from them on the spot at the boat show with a trailer. I haven't felt this great about a buying experience in a long time. I'm excited to visit their shop and purchase my second Sea Doo!

I had one of the worst customer service experiences with Dan (Salesperson) and Barry (Owner) at the VBWC Virginia Beach Watercraft Center.When I removed the cell phone box from my brand new Sea-Doo to install a USB charger I noticed that the box had been mangled either at the Dealer or at BRP before I took delivery. It is just a $22 item, but weeks later, one BRP service ticket, two dealer visits, several phone calls, and a dozen emails into it, I have not received a replacement.Instead they accused me of lying and of having caused the damage myself. Barry has used the four letter word in the presence of my 4 year old daughter and they are gaslighting me into questioning my own sanity. This is abysmal customer service, and and I had even given the salesperson Don a present when I had picked up the PWC, so it is not about the $22. What a shame!Now of course, I am worried what other lemon components might have been installed in my PWC.Only selling and 'servicing' backordered luxury items they seem to be able to sustain their business. I also recommend you let them have a look at the garage 'mechanic shop' they have in the back before you buy or have your service done at VBWC.

I am active duty military and I dropped my jet ski off to Barry at VB Watercraft for repairs 4 months ago. I told them I was deploying (huge mistake) and they've just completely disregarded me. My jet ski has been sitting in their shop for the last 4 months and they haven't even quoted me a price for repairs. They won't return my emails. I'm deployed overseas in a combat zone and the last thing I'd like to be worrying about is the terrible customer service from Barry and Virginia Beach wager craft.Have you ever had customer service so poor it personally offends you? Well, you should go here and first hand experience being ignored for 4 months. Even typing this up is draining because of how bad of a mood it puts me in.Save yourselves the pain.
