I enjoy coming to this facility for my sons track events. It is always clean and well maintained. I use to come here as a kid for my brother's wrestling tournaments. The renovations they have done have made this place so beautiful. The restrooms could be better maintained but it's understandable when it's packed with people for multiple events throughout one weekend. The restrooms are never dirty, but toilet tissue and hand-soap have been scarce at times. They offer a concession area, which is pretty pricey. Today I purchased a Starbucks premade cold coffee and it was $7.50 before tax. And a small hot coffee which was $4.00. I could have gone to Starbucks and had an actual treat. The food items are also priced pretty high, for simple things, like chicken tenders. I do appreciate the staff here, very friendly, informative and welcoming. You are able to purchase tickets online which makes entry easy, they also allow you to purchase entry tickets at the ticket windows, outside. Overall this is a very well run facility. I've patronized a few other sportsplex for my children's sporting events and this one is by far my favorite.

Came here for Memorial Day weekend for an all star football game. Pretty impressed. Large complex, even large parking area. Pretty seamless getting in. Lots of seating available. Looks like the grounds are well kept, the interior of the complex is kept quite clean. There are many fields available to have multiple events if needed. Concession stand, but also close to other food locals if tailgating is your thing. No issues, would definitely return.

This is a definite gem of VB that needs more attention. I've been there on two occasions now: the Color Me Rad 5k a few months ago and the Friday night mixer this evening. I've been a resident of VB for six years now and it wasn't until recently that I knew this place existed. It's a multi-sport stadium that hosts a bunch of athletic events: the UFL, high school football, field hockey, soccer games and various charitable and organizational events.Tonight I was able to run around on the field during a friendly football game. They have turf grass which always looks so beautiful. There is only seating throughout half the stadium (6,000 seats) but I was told that bleachers can be added when larger events come to the area. I think this place can hold up to 18,000 people. On the left side of the field is a large screen that gives off some high quality images and video. For mixers like tonight they air movies to keep the family entertained. On the right there is a picnic like area for eating, mixing and mingling.A hospital was recently built within a mile so that's always a good sign of traffic (by that I mean more people and attention) coming to this part of Virginia Beach. In time I can see this place being a much larger venue for semi-professional sports. I'm looking forward to seeing the popularity of this place grow...especially since it's within five miles of where I live!

First trip here was for the Yelp event Pley at the Plex. It has a very good central location to Landstown Commons off Princess Anne and appears well maintained. I could see attending sporting events here on the regular. I had a good time.

Never had a bad experience here. I've been to basketball games, birthday parties, and the mud run here and never had any issues. Birthday parties were hit or miss as far as assistance from the staff. Some are great and some are obviously there just for a paycheck. The place is pretty easy to maneuver so finding help isn't usually necessary. They also usually have signs to direct you to the events of the day and staff is helpful when needed.

I stopped by the Sportsplex, but more specifically the VA Beach US Field Hockey training Center that is on the campus. It was a nice facility- good outdoor bathrooms on the FH fields. If I could complain a little...it would be that since it's HOT as S in VA Beach in July, the metal bleachers were terrible. Fortunately I'm a college coach and I was able to sit on the astro turf (great fields, btw) so that worked out. But when I was in the stands...OUCH!

I've been here for just about everything - runs/races, soccer games, field hockey games, etc., and I love its flexibility. It's a little ways off the interstate, but not too far. Thankfully, the main road leading up to it is a 4 lane road, so there is little chance of a back-up, unless a major event is happening nearby. The soccer and field hockey fields are generally in good condition, except for when there is a multi-day tournament. However, I can't think of a place that could possibly withstand that much abuse in such a short period of time. When it comes to the parking, that can be a pain. The worst is when there is a big race event or a tournament. Again, these are everyday occurrences, so it's hard to think of a venue that can manage that kind of temporary volume increase.Generally, I think that the money spent to create this venue was a good investment and I don't frown when I find that my next event is going to be hosted here.

Amazing athletic facilities, friendly staff. Bleachers on only one side is different, but seats are comfortable & not too close together. Snackbar was expensive for the quality of food you get. But the quality of the facility really can't be beat!

This place is unorganized to my knowledge at least during Covid. I haven't been here before COVID so I can't say anything about that but the employees are all over the place and every time you go there the rules change. Last week I came to watch my significant other's football game and they were perfectly fine and OK with it and there was way more people watching games last week than this week. I came in today and one of the Caucasian female workers came up to me and told me I had to leave because they're not allowing any spectators due to government rules even though I was literally the only one watching the game tonight. Mind you there were other games going on in the facility and no one else spectating has been kicked out except for me. On top of that when we first arrived they let me in and halfway into the game they randomly decide to kick me out as well. I would understand and have more respect if I would have known as soon as I walked into the door and my significant other had to pay that $95 just to play other wise we would have never continued coming. On top of that I actually could have sat there and watched the game if I paid the $95 to "be on the roster" so if they were really concerned about COVID they wouldn't have been an option for me it seemed she cared more about the money than COVID safety. I am currently sitting in the car waiting on him to finish the game and I know for a fact that everyone else spectating hasn't left so I don't know if it was something against me or they just randomly decide the times they want to do their job the right way but please do better.UPDATE Since I paid the $95 to be put on the roster and provided the company with my email I've been getting useful updates on the new policy about Covid so I will give them that.

Just realized I have been here before, years ago for the Military Challenge course! This venue is excellent for any and all multi-purpose sports events in VB! It's well located with ample parking and nice facilities! Today, the SportsPlex held the Super Heroes/Villains Run while multiple events, such as field hockey, continued with tons of spectators! Such a clean, well-organized facility with many amenities!
