Virginia Beach Sports Center

I have an autistic child and mentioned it as we went in for a multi day event for her sister. She carefully placed the wristband so I could remove it when we were off property to make her more comfortable. The staff is warm. The facility is well appointed and clean. I have no idea how you kept the bathrooms as clean as they were. We've been here for FH and now Track. It's a great space!

This is a really nice facility that we come to once or twice a year for our daughters track meet. The building staff is really helpful, and pleasant. That's not always the case at these long, sometimes grueling, track meets. The restrooms were clean, and the food court space was really quick.

This is a beautiful facility. I love coming here for my son's track meets. Spacious, clean, easily accessible. Friendly staff and clean restrooms. The updates I've seen from when I came here as a kid to now bringing my kids here, have made this facility more appealing!! The concession area has plenty of options, although a little pricey, you won't starve while you're here all day. They have several areas where different events are held. It's amazing that they are able to run the facility seemingly effortless.

What a cool place for athletes!Our son had a track meet here and it's a super cool place for so many reasons. First, the facility is super clean and well-maintained. I judge a place by its restrooms which may sound odd. For this place to maintain clean restrooms with as many people coming and going was super impressive. Track meets can be long and this place thought about those who would be spending twelve hour days here comfortable. There are ample tables for sitting to enjoy a meal, snack or for parents to try to work a little bit. Also, they have cool spots to sit and charge your devices and still see the action. Next, I was super impressed that they had healthy food options. Of course they have your chicken tenders, burgers and fries, but they also have nice salads, protein snacks and a plethora of hydration options. Bring your wallet. Things are pricey!

This facility is top notch. The indoor track is beautiful. We love that this treasure is close to home and we done have to travel far for a quality indoor track meet.

Was able to check out the VB Sports Center last night (2/16/21) to watch my nephew's b'ball game. This place is massive and beautiful. It is 285,000 square feet of awesomeness - complete with a 200m hydraulic track, 12 b'ball courts, 24 volleyball courts & seating that accommodates 5000+. To boot, it is a short walk to the Oceanfront boardwalk. I wish this place was around when I was growing up - I played two sports & it would've been fantastic to play here. There are flatscreens mounted everywhere, which provide info on scheduled games/events and even show live sporting events on ESPN, or what have you. There is a cafeteria available, so you don't have to wander outside the venue if you're craving something to eat or drink. Social distancing could use some enforcement - visitors weren't very keen on keeping 6 feet apart. I understand it may be difficult to enforce that, but when you allow a whole bunch of people inside, it's going to be a problem. Luckily, the VB Sports Center is spacious, so one can consciously stay away from others, but the portable bleachers almost put you at a disadvantage because you can potentially end up sitting within 6 feet of someone. Cool thing - employees sprayed down the bleachers between games, so the facility is putting in the effort. In short, the VB Sports Center is an amazing place with the potential to draw in sports fans from all over. JV

If you're planning an event definitely check this place out. We had a gender reveal here. Decent sized room, they provided tables and chairs. The caterer was awesome. We just got cheeseburger sliders and chicken sliders. Those burgers were so good. That aioli sauce not sure what's in it but that was awesome.

Really nice sports center. We attended wrestling tournament over weekend. Huge facility with a lot of room! Food was decent but overpriced. Staff was friendly.

Wonder facility! Great food options (and even alcohol). We were there for two days for a volleyball tournament.

Place is ok, bright on inside .But they charged me 21 dollars to get in a high school track mee! Total rip off! Whoever is promoting this venue is retarted for charging 21 dollars forhigh school track meet! I was looking fir usain bolt or arl lewis up in this tip! Really 21$ man you have lost your mind!
