Love this place. They have a variety of stores that have offerings: general store, creamery,fruit/veggie stands, butcher shop, bakery, etc. Everyone is friendly, helpful...ands to the vibrant, relaxed setting where you can take your time to look for unique gift items, enjoy baked treats and ice cream and on and on.

Had a nice outing with my daughters and two of my grandbabies. It was a beautiful day to walk to the Farmers Market and pick up some treats. We visited the gardens and got some great ideas to create my own raised garden and the grandbabies enjoyed playing with the chickens. Can't wait for all the vendors/farmers to be back in full swing. I picked up some local honey, handmade soaps and of course couldn't leave without some Sweet Potato monkey bread. All treats and all worth the walk.

Always a good time at the Farmers' Market and the Apple Festival is no exception. Plenty of vendors along with all of the everyday venders and shops. Beautiful weather to boot!

I love this place! My friend introduced this Farmers Market to me not too long ago and I've been back 3 times. I love it! It's fun to see all of the unique things from the small businesses. I bought a few great smelling soaps like lavender eucalyptus and tea tree oil. I found a store that has beautiful and affordable jewelry. I want to go back for the Anime/Fantasy themed planter pots I saw there yesterday. So unique! And the cheesecake stand. They have the best goodies, chips, and ice cream!

Finally got to visit this farmers market. Its very different than a traditional farmers market which is usually outside. This to me is a hybrid farmers market which has some places outside and inside. Most vendors are selling the same things which include produce, raw honey, trinkets. I would like to see more food vendors, possibly clothing and just a variety of things. There is a bakery there which I loved and will return for. I don't remember the name of the bakery but as soon as you get close to the location of the bakery you will smell a heavenly sent of fresh baked bread. They make fresh bread and a number of sweets. I purchased a pumpkin bar which was a cross between a pumpkin pie and pumpkin cheesecake. It was so delicious and I'm eager to trying out the other treats and breads they have in there.

Whats not to love about my local farmers market. From events, yummy ice cream and local produce there's a lot to be done here and a lot to eat here. I am here quite often due to my family living right around the corner. We love when the carnival rides come in the spring and summer but also love all the pumpkins that come in the fall. All kinds of fruits and veggies can be found from all the local farms. Fresh flowers in the spring and summer. Fresh pumpkins in the fall and fresh Christmas trees in the winter. This market also contains many little shops. They have a butcher shop, bakery, and novelty stores. Something for everyone.

Honestly, this is such an amazing place to visit. I loved seeing the garden displays and the fact you could also get a little bit of facts while walking through it to understand how animals, plants, etc make a garden and produce fresh food. The people were fantastic in each location. Everyone was super friendly, definitely kid friendly as well. Loved being able to come out and support local businesses. Will definitely be returning more often in the future for fresh produce, bakery, soaps, and so much more. If you've never been definitely check it out! You can also look on their website to see what businesses are there and the times they are and what they are selling.

This farmers market is a collection of staple farm stands in a hybrid indoor-outdoor market, where even the outdoor areas are covered by an interconnected pavilion that allows for a good amount of shade. -- Produce & Offerings --The produce at the various stands are similar (watermelon, SC peaches, tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, onions, other veggies) and various packaged/canned goods (like honey, dressings). Some stood out with different options like grapes and beans. All of the produce looked fresh and in good condition. -- Gardens --There's also a wonderful children's garden with lift-a-flap signs with educational info, labeled plants and herbs, and plenty of butterflies and bees to watch. Beside it is a kitchen garden that grows veggies and herbs year-round. -- Markets open March/April-Dec --*S & H Produce (veggies, fruits, fresh eggs), *Holland Produce (veggies, fruits, fresh eggs), *Skipper Farms (veggies, fruits, packaged items), & *Creekmore's Place (veggies, fruits, honey, shelled beans). -- Year-Round Food --*Seasons Best Bakery (indoor; fresh bakery and candy store with soups and take & bake options).*Gilly's Creamery (indoor; ice cream made on-site daily with milkshakes and other options).*Princess Anne Country Grill (indoor; all day breakfast, typical diner options for salads and sandwiches, a daily "blue plate" special).*Beach N Seafood (indoor off the parking lot; fresh and frozen options including scallops, shrimp, crab, lobster, etc).*The Country Butcher Shop (indoor; traditional and unique offerings).-- Year-Round Stores --*Kempsville Florist & Gifts (indoor; gifts such as garden flags).*Chapman's Gifts (indoor; jams, honey, pickled items; nautical items and signs; fresh produce out front).*Flutterby Soap Co. (indoor; soaps, lotions, etc.)-- Drawbacks --It was lacking in variety as far as vendors for produce beyond that of farms (although it seems there might be tents put up at the center during seasonal occasions). The packaged items weren't particularly local wares; a gift I bought I later realized was "made in Indonesia." I was hoping for options like fresh cheese, a local honey vendor, maybe local peach preserves (currently in season). -- Prices --Costs are higher than grocery stores, as expected. A few examples: Take home & bake cinnamon buns: $3/bun (compare with $3.76/Cinnabon). Corn cut this morning: $0.99/ear (compare to Harris Teeter weekly sale at $0.35/ear). Large cucumber $0.99/each (compare to Harris Teeter weekly sale at $0.33/ear). -- Takeaway --While this market isn't as diverse in its offerings as I would like, it has a lot of pros, such as regular hours; plenty of shade; fresh produce, seafood, bakery items, and more; and of course opportunities to support local farms and businesses. We will continue to support this local market!

Love this place!!! It has a lot to offer in the way of fresh produce and seafood!! Last time my brother and I arrived for the Dungeness crabs, we looked at the line and said forget it! So when we heard about the Live Maine lobsters 5 for $95, we went an hour earlier and so glad that we did!!! I got in line with my cooler and after a 45 minute to an hour wait, I scored 15 fresh live Maine lobsters !!!The main point is to get there way ahead of time!!! Lesson learned!!!
