Virginia ABC

Great liquor store with reasonable prices and great choices of alcohol. The ambiance is fresh, clean and visually appealing. Prices are reasonable. Service is great, Doug & Shala (I hope spelled correctly) were wonderful and very helpful. Doug went out of his way to print out ingredients for our "lemon drop and orange crushes. And to think, my bestie would not get tequila for me!

Quick update on this store just outside of Chicks Beach on the Shore drive corridor. Just weeks after my last update they overhauled the bourbon area and expanded it 10 fold. They now can carry everything pretty much. Since this store is close I will work it in as a regular with expanded bourbon offered,

Pretty good store. It is a perfect location for me because It is close to the location I need to deliver the items to. They are pretty good with having everything I need but not always. Parking is a bit crowded and this is a busy ABC store. If they do not have the items I need there are other ABC stores that are close enough to run to and the staff can look up the item and see what store has it.

This location has a lot of inventory to choose from that some of the smaller locations don't have! A few of my friends and I came here before going to a holiday party one night and we were looking for a shaker. Obviously the ABC store is not really the place to look for one but surprisingly enough, the bottle of vodka that I wanted to purchase had a limited edition shaker with it for the same price as the regular bottle. The helpful sales associates showed us this! They were also really nice and helped us find all of the perfect ingredients to help make a great drink for the holiday party. I like this location and will be back!

Yes, all ABC stores are not created equal. The guys that work here seem to really love their job and talking to people. When I go in and linger, staring with the glass-eyed look at the selection of tequila (and no it's not because I'm drunk--LOL)...they will come over and tell you all about how this great cool new tequila just won an award an some annual competition in California. I love it. Who doesn't love a good story to go with their alcohol, right? The other thing I love about this one is that the selection is way sweeter than any dumpy ABC store I used to have to go to in Norfolk. If you want to try the latest and greatest, they probably have it. Definitely the upper crust of ABC stores.
