Virginia ABC

It was my first time at this location. The store is laid out well but I still had to look around for my favorites without much help. The staff were there but not interested in conversation. The staff followed me from aisle to aisle, I felt bad for coming through the door.I purchased some of the things I wanted but I left without some things because I felt uncomfortable. Weird experience.

I rarely venture to Suffolk, but when I do booze is involved. First time at the Harbourview store which is in a nice small strip. Signage could not be seen from my approach, however the road sign with various businesses it was there. Just small and not in direct view. Parking seemed adequate and the lot was clean. There are spaces by the door for curbside pickup. I placed my order online for a HTF bottle that is a new addition to VA ABC offering. My order of Bardstown Fusion Series #4 was paid and packaged when I arrived. I had also confirmed my order with staff Joey who was fantastic! The store truck had arrived a few hours earlier and all the boxes with inventory was shelved. Everything was neat and clean, however the bourbon section was not as large as I've seen in other stores. Still a great selection and they were full stocked. This will likely be a store I do not return to due to its proximity from my Virginia Beach home. 3.5 rounding up with great service.

This is the first time I've been to any of the Abc liquor stores since this pandemic has changed the way most of us shop and make purchases nowadays. I first walk in and I'm greeted by an employee who is standing behind poles and chains that are blocking the aisles when you enter the store ( sorry I couldn't get any pictures because you're so sort of rushed through the purchasing process )!!..They asked me what I wanted I then asked what options/flavors did I have, I told them what I wanted and they bring it around to the register, you make your purchase and you kindly exit the store. The store clerks are still very polite and give recommendations on alcohol beverages during this rush process. I didn't give the fifth star for the rush process but I completely understand and I'm on board with the safety purposes so we can stop the spread of the Coronavirus!!...

I've only been here twice, but both times the customer service has been the best I've ever had. From the moment I walk into this store, I'm greeted and helped in the right direction.It's a smaller store, but they have a good variety of literally almost anything you would need. I highly recommend visiting here if you are in need of a fine beverage or distilled spirits.

Cute set up...tucked away!You would think this location wouldn't have all your ABC store needs - but it does!!! They actually have a plentiful of stock here. While other stores may be sold out 9/10 what you are looking for is right here!The clerks are on point and they are definitely there to help guide you if needed.This store is walking distance from: hotels, Harris Teeter, Starbucks, other eateries...and a few minutes from Wal-Mart. I highly recommend this location.

Pauline is the best! She greeted us as soon as we entered, she was so much fun to talk to, and she recommended a new product, which my friend and I loved! (Good thing too, because after 20 minutes, we were still no closer to deciding what to buy).The shop is small but clean and carefully organized. They also have a pretty broad selection, including some items I've never seen before (Capt. Morgan LocoNut bomb bottles, Jim Beam Vanilla) and an impressive collection of mini bottles.

The only place I buy alcohol. The store is always clean and presentable. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The selection of alcohol is extensive, you should find whatever it is your looking for at this location. The location of the store is next to Savor the olive, in the back of Taste. A very convenient location in the Harbour View Area.

They always have what I'm looking for and the customer service is great! The staff is knowledgeable if you ask for recommendations. The store is located near Taste Unlimited, a tap house, and the movie theater. Very convenient location.

My home town liquor store. I come to this ABC store because it's really close to my house and has all the liquor I like... Which is pretty rare.
