Virginia ABC Store

To be fair trying to shop for cocktail ingredients right before a holiday weekend is probably not the best idea, were sold out of a lot we were looking for and didn't have a lot of mixers so you'll need to stop elsewhere to pull everything together but the store is nicely laid out and everybody was very helpful

My favorite Virginia ABC store at the beach. They are typically top three in the state for volume and get some of the best allocated whiskeys in the state. Located in the Hilltop North Shopping Center. Find them beside Starbucks. The best way to enter is off Laskin. There is plenty of parking and limited spaces by parallel. Signage is good in the lot, but very limited view from the road. One of the best things I enjoy about the Hilltop shop is the friendly staff. Also the fact they receive the best booze and currently have the biggest shop at the beach. Soon they will be second to 30th at the oceanfront when completed. The shop offers tastings which have been suspended with COVID. However it's the only ABC store I'm aware of that's done this. For bourbon lovers like me they have a huge selection that spans a long wall plus more in their allocated whiskey section up front. On truck days they put all the allocated bourbons on a table by the door. This is a great liquor store and highly recommend. 4.5

Amazing selection of alcohol. This is one of the larger ABC stores in the area. I think because it's so close to the oceanfront, it gets a lot of foot traffic.I came in here on a whim after some heavy duty physical therapy, and this spot has exactly what I was looking for. Their shelves are decently stocked and their employees are helpful.They even have a service for personalized gifts- how cool is that! Definitely stopping by again after my next physical therapy session

This is by far the nicest ABC store in the area. My fiancee loves him a good bourbon so I've been to more ABC stores in the last few months than probably ever in my life, even in college! Ha. This one is large, well stocked, well lit and well laid out. They have almost all kinds of liquor you could want and they have a huge selection and carry a lot of local wines and whiskeys made in Virginia, to include the Cavalier and Tarnished Truth collections from the Cav Hotel's distillery. Staff were friendly and greeted us upon entry and we had a quick check-out experience. I also like the location sandwiched between shops in the Hilltop shopping center makes it easy to poke your head in in the middle of running errands or grabbing something to eat.

This is such a lovely ABC store. This Hilltop location is top shelf from their swanky lights to their curvy shelves. They have the best variety of booze in VA Beach. When I have a picture on my phone and am trying to find something specific . If they don't have it on the shelf the staff are really helpful in looking it up to see who has it. If I am looking for sets for Christmas gifts they are really the location to come to first. I always have gotten great service over the years and the parking has always been perfect.
