Virginia ABC Store

I visit this particular branch often because it's right down the street where I live. They always have what I need and the employees are very helpful when needed. Even on a busy night you'll wait no longer than 5 minutes in line. They are really fast with checking customers out.

Avoid this ABC store. This place is pretty bad. I live right next to it, and I always drive to a better ABC store. I think the location is the only reason people use it because it's convenient. Other than that, that's pretty much it, because it's small and they don't have much. They're also pretty annoying other than a few nice employees. I always use the same ID for my alc every time I go to an ABC store and even here when I have to. They always accept it, and I don't have a problem because anyone knows when they void a driver's license, it's voided for driving reasons ONLY. It's still a valid identification form. They only wanted to enforce it today because the manager was there, and it's pretty funny because it's a first out of the 20 times I've been there. They even asked my boyfriend's ID when they're only supposed to ID the person buying the alcohol and anyone else bringing anything up to the counter. A manager should know better. Maybe they need a better one. They don't have as much in stock anyways and always run out of everything compared to the one on 4991 Nine Mile Road. Go there, that's the better one!!

A medium size liquor store with your standard strong beverages. The prices aren't bad and the staff is very friendly, nice, and helpful. I was staying the weekend in the area and just happy to find a place close by. Don't expect to find that rare limited liquor, but they have you covered on the standard basics. Super small selection of wine. No champagne at all. Boo. Lots of liquor options to choose from. Shelves were well stocked but they are pricey compared to NYC which is rare.Eh.. worked out for me in a pinch

Always nice and kind people at the counter. Used to live behind the store at 2005 franklin so I would walk to it. Awesome

This ABC store is located at 21st & Main St. It's very convenient if you live in the Shokoe Bottom area. The store isn't very big. This store stays stocked. The selection is a bit limited compared to other bigger ABC stores. You will find most popular liquors. Employees are friendly and very helpful. There's street parking around the ABC store.

I am a beverage connoisseur so I loved the wide variety of drinks n juices. Left the store trying a little of everything.
