Almost 2 years later and this spot is still THE best place anywhere to find a wide selection of Bourbon. Don't take my word for it, go and see it for yourself!Wondering how a new options tastes? Just ask the staff and they'll look up the tasting notes for you! The great customer service that happens here is awesome, and why I'll drive the extra mile or two just to shop here.

I'm not sure a review is really warranted, to be frank. I'm new to the area and just realized Virginia has some barbaric laws regarding libations. State run? Seriously?Nevertheless, I stumbled in here because it was the closest liquor store I could find to home. However, I was impressed. Clean, very well organized with clear, concise signs directing you to your preferred alcohol of choice. As another Yelper pointed out, they have a fantastic selection of quality bourbon. After a lengthy conversation with an employee I was met with disappointment realizing they rarely, if ever, hold tastings. If you're anything like me, you'd kind of like to sample the bourbon you're about to drop nearly a hundred bucks on. Oh well, such is life. I settled on a 375 of Woodford Reserve.In any case, assuming all state run liquor stores are similar, if you too are a bourbon fan, I think you'll be happy here as well. Cheers!
